I was warmed by the firey lakes of hell  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I wish I could give the Warming Hut a negative star because of the poor and disturbing experience I had there. It started out well, but quickly took a turn for the worst. First, the sandwiches my co-workers and I received were on very dry, hard, bread, which was a small disappointment. That was nothing compared to the rude, unproffesional, and down right mean treatment we received from a blonde barista. Not only was she extremely unpleasant while taking our orders but, when I asked for a cup of water she violently snatched the cup out of my hand and slammed it down in front of me exclaiming she was busy. Busy or not, there was no reason for this behavior. I had plans to come back and purchase some gift items, but I will never spend another dime in the Warming Hut, and if anyone asks me the Warming hut is the 6th circle of hell, with demon spawn for employees.

PROS: cute gifts
CONS: terrible awful rude staff

Warming Hut is a Good Name for the Store...  4 Star Rating - Very good

The Warming Hut seems to be a good name for the store, as I looked around and saw tourists delighted that they could finally get away from the San Francisco wind near the Golden Gate Bridge. That aside, their souvenirs are pretty cool, some of which I do not remember seeing anywhere else. Good place for tourists to shop.

Inviting Bookstore/Cafe  4 Star Rating - Very good

On cool, crisp winter days nothing seems more inviting than the Crissy Field Warming Hut Bookstore/Cafe. Especially after a stroll or run along Crissy Field. They sell typical national park/museum store merchandise, with an emphasis on environmentally minded products. It might be a good place to shop for gifts for outdoorsy friends. The cafe has nice dishes inspired by Alice Waters, as well as the usual coffee shop offerings.

Organic coffee, fun gifts, and yummy treats!  5 Star Rating - World class

This coffee shop is in a great location: the Golden Gate Bridge to your left and the City to your right. The view is amazing. The coffee is strong and good. The scones, muffins, and sandwiches are fresh and interesting. But, it's the gift shop that is the most fun. And, proceeds go toward the Presidio Trust. So, whatever you buy will go toward making Crissy Field even more beautiful.
