Edward's Mira Mesa is great. They feature pretty much all of the new movies available at the average movie cost, 9.50 or so. Good thing is matinee doens't end until 5:30PM so all of the people who want to enjoy a movie after work for half price can. The theatres itself is well maintained and kept clean and all the workers are very friendly and will do anything to make sure you enjoy your showing.

Way overpriced for the movies and for the snacks but the seats are really comfortable. There's a lot of theaters so there are a lot of movies to choose from.

Edwards is a great movie theater mostly due to the stadium seating that they have. It is very good. The food is really expensive though (as well as tickets). If it werent for price i would always go here.

One of the best big theaters in town

This theater is a bit of a drive for me, but it is well worth it. The theaters are clean, the prices are more reasonable than the local AMC theaters, and while it is crowded, this location is well designed to deal with large groups of people. The only downside is that concessions can cost more than the tickets. I also have to admit that the stadium seating is really nice.
PROS: Clean and comfortable
CONS: High concessions prices

edwards is the place to go see a movie. The theaters are huge so it almost never gets sold out. The seats are really comfy too. Most movies are playing on two screens so the movie times are excellent. They carry all the good candy as well as tons of popcorn that is real good. The prices may be a little higher, but it is well worth it.

Edward's Cinema is a great place to hang out with friends and have a blast in the movies. The tickets are quite cheep but the snacks are outragiously over priced. Staff is just a little helpful.

A great place to hang out with friends, go on a date or just have a family outing. This very new and clean theater is surrounded by a lot of parking and many places to eat. The entire area around this theater is very safe because there are always a couple of cops on guard and it is a pretty crowded place..

This place is state-of-the-art cinema with plenty of screens. The theatre is really busy and big, so it is very easy to sneak in and see a couple of free movies. The parking can sometimes is a pain.

An Awesome Movie Experience

Once you experience movies in stadium seating you will never go back. The eighteen theater complex gives rise to a new wave of movie viewing. Don't let the high prices scare you because the huge screens and tentalizing surround sound will make up for it. Once the lights dim you are on your way to a world of fantasy and fiction that leaves you wanting more. This movie theater is unlike no other and never seizes to amaze me.

Now here is a place where you can relax and watch a movie in style. Edwards, though expensive, is huge, offers stadium seating, has many great showtimes and all of the good movies, and almost never sells out.

It is really nice and has a good location. Stadium seating of course. However, it can get really crowded and immature teenagers often hang around outside to look for trouble.

I goto Edwards almost every week to watch a new movie. This place is NICE, they keep it clean and comfortable all the time. A lot of the workers are young and energetic, which is nice, but the tickets are a little expensive. Its well worth the luxury you will feel in the movie theater, so its all good. Definately one of the better places to watch a good film in San Diego.

This movie theatre is among the nicer ones in San Diego. It is also in a very convenient area in that there are lots of restaurants around, and shops for things to do after a movie. The theatre is also has stadiun seating. It is overall a great place to go have dinner & a movie.

This is a huge movie theater. It is a really nice place to go. They have all the movies you would want to see. They also give a discount for students, but you have to bring your idea. I would recommend this movie theater if movies are your thing.

This theater is by far the best I have been to in the San Diego Area. The seats are large and comfortable and the four main screens are huge. The only problem is that the food is quite pricey but what movie theater isnt. Hey at least you get to poor as much butter you want on your popcorn

the only thing keeping me from giving this place a 5 is the ticket prices. slowly, oh ever so slowly, have they creeped up to $9.50 a ticket. ridiculous. the seats are comfy (high back, reclines slighly, cushy), the theatres are kept clean. parking can be difficult because a lot of people like to come here. it's the nearest theatre for scripps ranch, mira mesa, and tierrasanta.

This is one of the better theatres in San Diego. At any seat, you can get a total view of the screen and the seats are pretty comfortable as well. Price-wise, tickets arn't too expensive and you can also get matinee prices before 6 or whatever. You can find almost all blockbusters here and occasion find some independent film or a new screening of something different. My only complaint is the group of gangster-esque kids that loiting in front by the fountain area. Don't they have something better to do on friday nights. THEY DONT EVEN WATCH A MOVIE!

okay so a movie theatre's a movie theatre but this one was pretty cool...it's got stadium seating and a good selection of movies. another good thing I like about it..is that it's not a crowded theatre so you don't have to deal with "talkers" during the movie!

Wonderfully large movie thearter complex with 19 screens, arcade and huge snack bars with wide variety of hot and cold food items. It's usually pretty crowded on the weekends, but the place is so big, that it's never usually a problem. I prefer to go onthe weekdays when it's a little less crowded. The seating is on an incline, so that even if you're sitting way in the back, you always get a good view of the screen. They keep it nice and clean and I've always had a good time when I go with either my husband or a group of friends. Because it's in a shopping complex, there are also restaurants to go to before the movie. Best bet would be On the Border (excellent mexican food)
