We just had our Jetta's air conditioner serviced. They were able to fix the problem at a fair rate and tell us some issues that may arise in future. They did it on short notice, and quickly, too!

I have repeatedly encountered other shops' inability to understand my car's systems. I always ended up having to take it to the dealer, which we all know costs an arm and a leg. Not here. Tom demonstrated a great understanding and ability to fix the problem. I'll definitely be going back for all my Jetta's needs.

German Auto Center was bought out by Tom Fahrenholz, he then changed the name to German Auto Specialist, got rid of all the poor mechanics , cleaned out all the junk cars, and parts painted the building bought all new computers and updated inventory, and equipement. Tom has over 20 years of hands on experience on all the german cars, he also has a Mercedes Master tech.
I own 02 Porsche and am very pleased with the repairs and price of the repairs.

I used to own a VW Vanagon, which I liked alot, but which caused me regular headaches due to overheating and electrical problems. I took this vehicle on 2-3 occasions to German Auto Ctr. and was not particularly impressed with results. Firstly, they were expensive, and secondly, my problems kept coming back. The owner was friendly, but I got the impression that since my car was an older vehicle, it wasn't worth the time and effort to repair satisfactorily. Just a hunch. I finally stopped going to this place and began going to a Volvo repair shop down the street in Newhall with better results. I would not recommend German Auto Ctr.
