Madame K's Pizza

what fun you can have here! it's a 21+ only place, which is just as well with the theme being that of a former brothel. There are costumes you can dress up in if you feel so inclined. The pizza is sooo good too. I'm not really a pizza person, but they have this wonderful pie that's called something like White Heaven. It's an all cheese, 4 or 5 varieties I believe, with only olive oil as a base and a few spinach leaves sprinkled on top for fun. A great place to bring friends from out of town.

I just can not rave enough about this place. Not only does it have the atmosphere of a bordello and the servers give enough lip to make a sailor blush, but their food is outstanding!

The pizzas are inventive and I enjoyed the variety of the menu. Service was fasat and friendly.

I had never had a Sangria before I came to this place, now I make them even at home, but they can't compare to Madame K's...

And, for dessert, you can not leave without a screaming orgasm. I loved it so much that I got another one to go. Heat it up in the microwave at home, add you own touch of ice cream and enjoy again...

A fabulous experience for a romantic date for two or a batchelorette party.

PROS: Great service and food!
CONS: Limited seating, you may have to wait for a table, but grab a sangria at the bar while you wait, it makes the time fly faster.

Madame K's is one of those great small businesses that reflects the spirit of its spunky owner - Kirsten. OK, I don't know her last name, but at what bordello do you? Yes, it was a bordello long ago, and Kirsten has kept the flirtation alive. Always a fun and interesting wait staff. Could be bigger for all it's popularity. The pizzas are really good and really filling, and while service if great, the kitchen can be a tad slow and the waits can be long. What you cannot leave without trying is the Chocolate Chip Orgasm. It's cookie dough in a deep dish pan, hot from the oven (and just a tad underdown) hit with a big scoop of icecold vanilla ice cream. The combination is amazing, and even if you are full of sausage and peppers pizza you will force it down, burning your tongue on every bite and loving it. Fun for a birthday or a group. A little loud for a romantic outing.

You have to go to a pizzeria that advertises itself as being in an ex-brothel! Madame K's, located in Ballard, is housed in a former brothel, a leftover of Seattle's railroad and mining days. You have to be 21, you have to go there, and you have to eat their pizza--while being served by a saucy waitstaff dressed as if they were employed by the former occupying business! They also have a great patio out back overlooking the locks if you're lucky enough to be in Seattle when the sun is shining.
