Loews Theatres Metreon

Here at Lowes, you will be able to watch many movies. They have many screens, including serveral IMAX screens. The prices are quite high, so if you are not will to spend a little more, go some place else. The most demanding movies are sold out quite often and is very crowded. The lines to buy tickets may get really long also.

This is a good place to see regular movies or IMAX movies. The IMAX movies has a lot of sound effects and a very big screen. It feels like you are in it which gives you a feel of excitement. It is very easy to get food and it is not crowded like other theaters.

The theatres here at the Metreon are pretty clean. They have the latest techonology in surround sound entertainment which makes you feel like your in the movie. They also have an IMAX theatre for select movies. Good place to watch a movie then check out the surrounding stores or have a bite to eat at the restaurants downstairs.

Loews Theatres Metreon is the place to watch movies. I enjoy watching IMAX here because it makes the movies so real and enjoyable. They have multiple consesstion that sells popcorn, drinks, and the needy greedy snacks. On the downside is that parking is really difficult and prices for the movies are really expensive. Also, they have little arcade games on the first floor.

this theatre has speakers that would blow your clothes off! they have the coolest subwoofers that make your spine tingle, no other theatre with thx does that.

Once and very dazzling place with great, big theatres has now turned vacant. With its outrageous prices and no student discounts, it is impossible to easily afford a movie ticket. Also, the floors in the theatres are sticky. It seems that the staff does not bother to actually clean the place. Plus, parking is hard to find.

Loews theaters in metreon is a great place to watch movies. Although the prices are a bit more expensive (cheapest is around 7.25) than other theaters like Century, the seats are comfortable and they sell great snacks. This theater is also not as big as others theaters, but it is well-cleaned and nice. Loews theaters Metreon is located in downtown next to yerba buena park.

This theater has great screens and great stadium seating - so if you're in the mood for an "event" picture (i.e. Star Wars, Spiderman, etc.), by all means come here for the great sound and festive atmosphere.

However, the price you pay is expensive parking (across the street in a garage), expensive tickets (no matinee pricing), large crowds, and lots of noise. Sometimes, movies are sold out well in advance of start time.

If you want to see a lower profile movie, go somewhere else, and save yourself some money, stress, and time.

A multiplex with 15 screens, including one IMAX screen. It's on the third floor of the sleek, stylish Metreon building. The stadium seating is comfortable, and most of the seats get a good view and sound experience. There's a large concession stand thatsells cold blended coffee drinks and cotton candy, as well as the usual popcorn and soft drinks. Sometimes they even wheel into the screening room a cart loaded with refreshments for sale. Loews has the usual mainstream movies - no indie releases here. The large lobby has arcade games and a picture-taking booth.
