If you are looking for hard to find titles this is the place for you! The staff is very knowledgeable about music and offer great recommendations. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. They always have good music playing.

TLRS is the musical mainstay of Santa Rosa.
Musician, entertainer, songwriter, radio personality, MC, recording artist, music promoter, good-humored, zany and friendly, owner Doug Jayne is all this and more.
It's no wonder his store is the success that it is! Thank you, Doug.

The Last Record Store is Sonoma County's one and only place to find classic rock, new music, and all the strange obscure things you didn't think you could find any longer. Much better shopping experience since they've moved into their new digs on Mendocino Ave from Fourth St. Reasonable prices and helpful staff.

A Santa Rosa institution for quite some time now. The Last Record store is an independently owned record shop with a great selection of all types of music including many of the North Bay Areas up and coming local bands. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and their prices are reasonable and it is always worth exploring the local, independently-owned options before spending your hard earned cash in the outlet of some corporate monolith.

This backbone for music lover's in Sonoma County has a homegrown motto "This Ain't No Chain Store!". They recently moved from their longtime location on the rapidly gentrifyingcoffee house saturated 4th St strip into the JR college zone on Mendocino Avenue. One of my fave aspects was walking up to the counter to purchase items and seeing the collection of old concert ticket stubs under the counter glass. Whether it's punk, metal, hip hop, classic hippie rock or country... the staff is friendly and plenty capable of stocking the right stuff for the right reasons.
