Richest Restaurant Chain in US? Really?

by Jamie A.

NO, NO! This location of The Cheesecake Factory I cannot recommend. I don't care how great their food is, their service is awful and I do not support awful service. People do not deserve to be treated the way they have treated my family. Of course, the wait is long..blahblah. Just another sign of how inconsiderate they are in not taking reservations. Anyway, I put my name in two hours early one time to be sure my party would get in when I told everyone to come. We waited another hour and a half on top of that! Then when we sat down, I got a call that two people who at first thought they couldn't come, then could because of the lateness of us being seated, called again to say they wouldn't come. The waiter would not stop hassling me about my 2 empty chairs. (we had a party of maybe 10 people). Then he and another waiter made us get up after we already had been served our drinks and move around so he could take away one of our tables. My 90 year old friend from church had come and can barely walk. Yes, she had to get up and move. And they were very rude about it. My father was not happy and asked to speak to the manager. The second "waiter" informed us he was the manager. My dad voiced his complaint and the manager continued to be very rude. My dad asked if he could fill out a comment card. The manager said (and I quote), "Sir, we are the richest restaurant chain in the United States. We don't need comment cards." !!! Excuse me, but I will not support an attitude like that, no matter what your food is like. Even rich restaurants would not be rich restaurants without customer support. So there's a piece of my mind.

long line not usually worth it

by Christine K. | insider Insider | Rank: 17,911

The line on a busy weekday or weekend can be up to an hour, but usually not worth waiting for. The ambience is nice, but it's very crowded, loud, and the food is okay.

Restaurant

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in town. The menu alone will take you a while to go through it because they offer such a variety of entrees. The meals are huge! If you have enough room for dessert they not only offer lots of different cheesecakes but other scrumptious goodies as well.

Restarurant

by Kelly B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,309

The Chessecake Factory has a very large menu! It has salad, sandwhiches, pasta, steak, chicken, and lots more. The only bad thing about this restaurant is that it is always crowded. If you don't want ot wait, you need to make a reservation. It has at least 20 different kinds of cheesecake for dessert and they are delicious!

Cheesecake Factory

by Breene C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,200

This place is always crowded, so good luck on the weekends. Luckily the mall is right there, so when the wait is unbelievably long, you can go shop and work up even more of an apetite. The prices are high, but they make up for it with their portions. I'd rather have less food and pay less, rather than feel like a beast when I'm done overeating, or taking leftover home that will likely be throw away after a day or so. They may have the largest menu I've ever seen at a restaurant, so allow yourself plenty of time to decide. The service is really good, which I appreciate.

Cheesecake Factory

This Cheesecake Factory is not my favorite Cheesecake Factory. Their food is great, but it's so busy that the waiiers and waitresses always seem really overwhelmed. No one wants to feel like a burden, but that is how I have felt here, unfortunately.

Cheesecake factory...it's not ONLY cheesecake

by maiya t. | insider Insider | Rank: 21,370

The cheesecake factory is a lovely little restaurant that takes on an average night...30-45 minutes to get in. It is a nice place to take a date on, but I would not recommend it as a family outing. The prices there are a little bit high at about $25/person for a full meal, but the food is pretty good and usually in large portions. Their cheesecake and other deserts are really good. They have great service and great drinks, but for me the price is a little too much, so this is only a special occasion type of place.

PROS: Great Food Great Service
CONS: high price

its alright...

by Jenny T. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 12,775

the cheesecake factory is the busiest place at Fashion Valley Mall. you always have to wait atleast 40 minutes for a table if you go on a weekend. The food isn't all that great either - it looks better than it tastes and the prices are fair if you make a lot of money.. the pricing ranges from about $8-$18 so save up if you plan to go there someday.

Cheesecake is the same at any store you go to. This one is located at the Fashion Valley Mall and it doesn't disapoint. The food is good, HUGE portions, and of course great cheesecakes. Just make sure you save room, the plates are so large. enjoy!
