When we went to Coronado we stopped by Wheel Fun Rentals to rent a four person bike. It was so much fun riding around Coronado on that! I thought it would be harder to steer but it was easy to handle. The prices for rental are not bad at all!

I love this hotel, especially during the holidays because they have an Ice skating ring less than 100 feet from the beach. The lobby is decorated beautifully for the holidays, also the staff is always very welcoming and warm. The beach houses are great for family get aways, or a romantic weekend with a loved one.

ive never actually stayed in this hotel, but i have friends that work here and ive seen the inside of it. the crown room is so amazing and beautiful. when i've gone to the beach here, i've seen the employees set up weddings on the beach, out in their lawn, and i've seen pictures of when they had weddings in their crown room.

My husband took me here as a surprise getaway. It was so beautiful and we had a very nice dinner and sat out and watched the sunset. It was so peaceful. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin and clearly our neighbors were on their honeymoon (all night long).

This is the best hotel ever. We always stay here when in town.
We have been coming here for 40 years. My mom and my grand mother and my aunt all worked here. My parents met here.
It is the most romantic, beautiful hotel in Calif. Can't find one bad thing to say about "The Del". Make sure to stay in the original wing and get the ocean view. It is worth every penny.

This was a very beautiful and historical hotel. It is on a very nice island with many pretty boutiques and restaurants and cafes. Overall it is probably one of the best hotels that I have been to. The staff was really nice and helpful. They helped us bring our luggage in and gave us suggestions such as where we should go to dinner and what we can do on the island.

I went to the hotel a few years back and it was so nice! I didn't stay at the hotel, but I went to the beach there and I saw the hotel and the shops inside. It is very pretty. It is definitely a place to see, it is really beautiful. It is featured in the book "A 1,000 Places To See Before You Die". If you're not spending the night there, at least go there to see it and walk around there.

This hotel it gorgeous! It's a wonderful, elegant, nostalgic, romantic place to stay for a get away weekend or anniversary.
Be willing to pay. The rooms are expensive, but just to stay in an old hotel with a lot of history, it's worth it at least once. I especially liked the room overlooking the gardens.
The grounds and beach are nice for walks, or in summer to play at the beach, and the lower level of shops are fun, pricey, but unique. Be sure and check out the gallery of pictures showing the famous that have stayed here in the past. This is my favorite hotel of all time. And even if you just go for a day, you can take in the surroundings, shops and have a delicious meal.

This place has amazing archtecture ranging for simple to ornate. The food is remarkable and lavish. I can not say enough good things about Del Coronado island. It is very romantic at sunset to take a stroll with a loved on your arm. I am not sure what the rates of the hotel were but they pleasures of the island are free.

A very nice place but I it seemed way over priced for a hotel. This a pretty island in a pretty bay with pretty beaches. I loved strolling down them after we had breakfast. The brunch is very good and the buildings are very nice. It does not hurt that San Diego has one of the best climates to make any trip there worth while.

This hotel is beautiful and amazing to stay in!! it also holds stories of ghostly happenings that have been circulating at the Hotel del Coronado for many years, all thought to be related to the death of a young woman, Kate Morgan, who stayed at the hotel in November 1892. If you want to test your "fear factor" check into this beautiful hotel and ask for kate morgan's room!
