SFMC is a straight shot to heaven or hell, depending on where you think you will end up.

Insurance fraud goes on daily there, billing you or them for procedures never done.

Gunshot victims need to go to UCLA, not to SFMC. Doctors/nurses have no experience treating these kinds of patients. I know, I work in the ER there. Nurses & doctors do not have the appropriate training in trauma. I have spoken several times to the trauma specialist about training staff. The ER nurse manager doesn't believe in the training process.

I am a trauma nurse specialist trying to work around incompetent staff. If you want to be classified as a trauma center, then you should have trauma trained professionals working there.

My friend had her baby here. This hospital has great staff. They have nurses which are very dedicated and caring towards their patients. Doctors are very help and professionals. They have small gift shop where you can buy flowers or other goods for patients. Parking was no problem either (which is rear in hospitals).

I know a few people who have gave birth at this hospital. This hospital is huge! It's really clean and has a large parking area. The doctors and nurses here are so kind. Everyone that I know who has visited this hospital is always pleased with the service. They have cute little gift shops and a nice clean eating area.
