Nine Pound Hammer

Nine Pound is a great place to hang. It's an eclectic crowd. Not to be confused with electric, which the low lighting and the open outside walls bringing in wonderful ambient light should save some on the light bill. It's Georgetown at it's best... or worst, depending on what you are looking for. I had the best chicken mole anywhere served after 6pm till ???? Tell Megen I recommended you.

My friends kept suggesting this joint, I just had to find my way down to Georgetown to find out for myself. This place is really down to earth and has a great vibe. Cheap pitchers of beer and lots of Georgetown charm are abundant here. It is just plain fun. Go after pizza at Stellar, another Georgetown icon.

This is the greatest bar in Georgetown. A fantastic crowd ranging from crotch-rocket riders to tattooed & pierced thirty-somethings. This low key joint with plenty of charm is slightly hidden given its location, but well worth the hunt. An ideal place to nibble on salty peanuts and down some ale while people watching.
