4 Stars: Nice Little Place... (by Heather M.)

We ducked in here one night on our way to a concert at the Moore Theatre - it's right across the street.

I was actually fairly impressed. The mixed drinks weren't too watered down, and Guiness on tap is always a good thing. I'm not a whiskey fan, but as the name implies, they appear to have a wide selection of different whiskeys if you're into that. The prices were a little higher than your typical neighborhood hole in the wall, but that's expected for a nice place downtown, I guess

It was pretty crowded for a wed. night at 7pm (though that may have been due to the concert ) There was a DJ playing a real good mix of music that really fit the mixed crowd - everyone from barely leagal hipsters (did I mention it was a Weezer concert) to some 40is business men obviously just out of work - even a couple of frat boys.

Anyway, long story short - I'd go back - and with all the gin joints in this town, that's as good a reccomendation as any!

5 Stars: Here's the best place to drink on Second Ave. (by Nick D.)

THE Whiskey bar. They know how to make 'em. Anything whiskey, but my favorite here is a whiskey sour. Often times they'll have pre-show parties when there are concerts playing at the Moore or the Paramount. Check them out before your next show or even when you're out and about in downtown Seattle.

PROS: Awesome drinks, location is great
CONS:

4 Stars: whiskey is good for you (by Heather S.)

while the whiskey bar is smaller in size it has a wonderful selection of, duh, whiskey. the jukebox has a good selection and they do have a good outdoor seating section. if it's not raining it's great for people watching and catching a few afternoon rays.
