Seaworld

by Farzad E. | insider Insider | Rank: 20,186

SeaWorld is a very fun place to go. They have several rides, exhibits and much more. The food is expensive, but it just like any other amusement park. If you want to impress your girlfriend or wife, take them to swim with the dolphins.

I love Shamu!

by Tiffany P. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,424

Despite the overcommercialization of our ocean neighbors, SeaWorld is a great place to be. It is a great opportunity to teach children and the community as a whole about the amazing world of animals. Nature will surely benefit from the lessons learned here. One year passes can be bought at Costco at significant discount. Besides watching the orcas swimming around their extra large pools, my boyfriend and I especially love the arcade. We always come home with another oversized stuffed animal each time we go for a visit.

Fun for all ages!

by Mary L. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,871

I have gone to Sea World countless times. It is the best thing San Diego has to offer. My grandchildren love all the shows and exhibits. It is a bit pricey, but it is well worth every penny. I find something new everytime I visit. Sea World is a must see.

Awesome

by Alana T. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,642

Sea World has so much to offer, you really need to check it out for yourself and not take my word for it. If you are a resident the Fun Card is the way to go - you pay pretty close to one day's admission and get the rest of the year for free, you can't beat that and if one person in your party gets a silver passport member (even a child) then parking is included as well. The food is great, the park is clean and tidy, customer service is AMAZING. There is something for everyone. The shows are fantastic - it's a great way to spend any day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

we enjoyed a really fun day at sea world. there is plenty to do for everyone in the family -- from 2 year olds to 92 year olds! i suggest bringing a rain poncho if you like to sit close in the whale show. otherwise, you will get drenched!

Great aquarium great exibits

by Quoc D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,729

My family loved this place from the killer whale show to the dolphin petting pool. I really enjoyed all the hands on sealife that they let you examine. The sea lion show was very funny and I never realized walruses were so huge. The work that they do for the sea evironment is something that makes this place 5 stars.

SeaWorld San Diego

by Chi D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,591

A very nice place to take guests. This place had lots of marine life and an interesting whale exibit. I liked the polar bear exibit and it allowed my family from overseas to see a world class Aquarium. It is very expensive but worth taking a visit.

Family fun and education

by Jane S. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,755

Seaworld is one of my all time favorite amusement parks, and its only about an hour away from orange county in beautiful San Diego, so getting there isn't too much of a hassle. This is truly a wonderful place to take the entire family. The park is dedicated to educating the public and taking proactive steps toward helping the marine environment. Seeing the sealife and shows is truly amazing so don't miss this wonderful park.

What a FUN place to go OVER and OVER again

by Riva M. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 525

There is alot about SEAWORLD that if you don't investigate, you will never find out about. Did you know that you could spend the night there? Well I have spent the night there 2 times, once I slept in the Shark Lagoon and once in the Aquarium. The price depends on the amount of people in your group. You get to see seaworld attractions (not show) at night when the park is empty, they provide dinner and breakfast. There is also sleep away camp there in the summer time for the younger ones. What a camp that is. If you are gonna go more then 1 time they you should buy a season pass, a lot cheaper and you get lots of extra stuff. Enjoy, I have for years. One More Thing, If you love Shamu you can dine with him and each of his shows is different during the day, in summer his night show is amazing. To email them you go write to their website and click contact us for the form that goes right to them.

PROS: So much fun for kids and adults. Handicap Accessible, you can rent electric of plain wheelchairs there
CONS: They charge too much for the electric wheel chairs.
