5 Stars: great stuff! (by kim r.)

The square room isn't a typical art gallery. Sure there are photos or paintings on the wall, but they also feature fashion and other forms of art that aren't typically showcased in traditional galleries. They also sell candles and bath & body items, furniture and other things deemable as art in their own right. My favorite running installation are the pieces by Leif Holland - they're almost diaramas, but not quite. Whether you're looking for some fabulous affordable wall-hanging art, or some t-shirts that protest the Bush administration, or a nicely scented candle, The Square Room's worth visiting.

5 Stars: My Favorite New Gallery (by Shannon P.)

The Square Room is not your typical gallery, for it actually has art that we can all afford. Last time I was in there they had some great paitings on one side of the wall and on the other side, these adorable framed sculptures. But that wasn't all! There was an abundance of other, smaller items throughout the shop including handmade wine glasses, odd preserved plants, and even lavender house products (i bought the room spray).
