Cranium's Coffee & Collectibles

I love this place. They have a fun, friendly atmosphere. They learn your name. They have fabulous sandwiches and espresso. (I reccommend the Community Club Sandwich, myself). And they're pretty inexespensive for fresh, yummy food.

This is my daily hangout, my daily coffee place for the last two years, so perhaps I am biased, but I also know this place inside and out. It is a fun, independent espresso joint, where you can also get breakfast sandwiches, scones, muffins, etc, as well as very good sandwiches and soups in the afternoon. The ambiance is funky/junky. Definitely not an ironic/black-wearing kind of place you'd find on Capitol Hill. But, good music, good people working there, and good food and coffee. There are 3 free Internet stations (15 minutes free if you purchase something), and I believe they have free wi-fi. A great place to read a book or do some work. Lots of families and little kids/babies in there on the weekends. Tell Nancee (the owner) that Peter sent you!
