I get bored in fitness classes. They just aren't that fun to me. That changed when I tried NIA, over a year ago. Done in bare feet on a fine wood floor, to fun, world-beat and dance music, NIA is a mix of a bunch of different disciplines, from yoga to tai chi to taekwando to modern dance. I get a GREAT sweat doing it, and it hits all parts of my body, especially my core and my quadriceps. Dara and Dina (two of the instructors) just rock! It's great fun. I can't really tell you more, just try it! The first class is free if you haven't done NIA before.
