my friend was moving into a new apt and used a gift certificate i had given them for crate & barrell to buy some necessities for the new apt. they have amazing deals on items for your kitchen, dining room, living room, bed room, bath room, pretty much any room! they have great items to decorate with as well. i especially recommend going when they have sales, they are hard to beat.
We got married last summer, and a great piece of advice we got was to register at Crate & Barrel (in U Village and Bellevue Square). After registering at the Bon and Bed, Bath & Beyond, it was not only the easiest, and most pleasant one to do, but it ended up having the most stuff we wanted. They have a great selection of stylish, but not too expensive home furnishings. This also made it easy for people to buy for us (both in person in Seattle and online).
