This is a great place just to go in and browse. Their selection, with two separate location across the street from eachother, is the best I've seen. I haven't run into any of the negative salesmen in my few dealings with them, but I agree the prices are maybe a little high. With used gear, and rentals, they have everything.

Agree that they are over priced. But it's a good local resource to get up close with lots of equipment. (It's a good place to research your next purchase.) They also rent equipment, so that is a pretty good way to try something out or play with an expensive toy.

I give this store a Satisfactory rating because of it's good Used Equipment selection and it's large selection of photographic supplies. Some of the staff there are friendly, others treat you like you don't even belong in the store. The prices there are actually high, and eventhough they have sales, I wouldn't consider them sales at all. We're talking, a few dollars from the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price sales.

If you are in the market for Used camera equipment, then you should check this place out. They have a lot of Nikon and Canon lenses and bodies, both manual focus and auto-focus. They also have a Digital equipment division of the store across the street. It's pretty packed with printers, scanners, and all the high priced digital equipment. Again, prices are still too high.
