I have to say that buying a car from this dealership as a single woman was not a positive experience. The salesperson and salesmanager believe that women do not know how to buy a car on their own. They got frustrated when I wanted every thing in writing -up front. They even made comments about, "yeeeeeeesssssss we will put that in writing too." They also offer you your first oil change for free if you give them all positives on their satisfaction survey. Well, that satisfaction survey is tied into their bonus at the end of the month. It's worth it to them to pony up $20 towards an oil change for the thousands they get in bonuses.

Avoid this dealership, and in fact, all other Fox dealerships as well. Being told that the car you want, and want to test drive is right up the road - 55 miles up the road! I still can't believe I bought the car. I guess I just love Chevrolets.

I had the misfortune of visiting Fox to have my Chevy Cavalier repaired several times. At each visit, I felt talked down to, over charged, and not confident about the work. When my car developed a major overheating problem, they told me my coolant bottle had melted, replaced it, charged me a couple hundred dollars, and sent me on my way. Even pulling out of the parking lot, my car was making awful noises (and the bottle had clearly melted as a result of the overheating - it was not the cause of it). I did not even get the car 1 mile from the dealership before it was repeating the same over-heating problem.

I do not trust the people at Fox at all, and my experiences have all been bad. If you are looking for a repair place in the DC area, I cannot recommend Gunpowder Garage highly enough. Check out my review of them - they are friendly, fair, and I know I will be treated right. Stay away from Fox if you can avoid them.
