Bulldog has an amazing selection of magazines and newspapers. You will definately find some magazines you have never heard of. There's plenty of room to browse and they have a coffee bar as well so you can sip and read as well. There is also one on Broadway in Broadway market--not as big, but they still have a wide selection.

Excellent Magazine Store

This is the place to go for specialty magazines. The choices are huge and slightly overwhelming. That's a good thing in my book. They cover all of the usual interests(music, home, style, food, lifestyles, hollywood, etc.). There is also a nice cafe section attached to the store. The coffee and espresso are quite good in quality. There are also several seating sections and a TV(news) for your enjoyment.I really dig this place. The employees are super nice as well.

Bulldog has perhaps the best selection of magazines in Seattle. Of course they have all of the popular ones, but they also have SOO much more. They have rare literary journals, great design magazines, and, my favorite, crazy fashion magazines from the UK and other foreign countries. It the only place where I have been able to find "Pop" this amazing fashion quarterly from the UK.

Best Selection of Mags in town!

Don't let this tiny little store fool you! This place is packed to the gills with what I think is the most extensive and interesting magazine selection in town. Both locations (University Ave., and Broadway Market) have a great selection, but I usually head to the Capitol Hill location. It's a bit hidden due to the revamping of the market, but worth the search.
What I love about this store, aside from the usual popular mags, they have many indie and obscure art and craft publications.
PROS: Excellent selection - best in town!
CONS: Semi-hidden location, but worth the search.

OK, miss the old days where there were news/magazine stores? This harkens back to those times. The place is huge, filled with magazines and newspapers of all types, from all over the world. Want to see the Australian magazine that had the Seattle Storm's Lauren Jackson nude in it? They not only had many copies, she SIGNED them there.
They also have an espresson bar and soem candies and smokes. Right on the Ave in the middle of it al. Stop by and browse some time (and buy something, this ain't a library ya know!) :-)
