I discovered Cambridge 1 through a friend a few years ago. I love the atmosphere of this cozy bar & restaurant. You can see the chefs making the pizza. The thin, crispy crust of their pizza is amazing. My husband and I always split a pizza. There is not one bite left. The food is fresh and it comes out of the kitchen very quick. The service is always great. You might want to go a little early because sometimes there is a wait, but grab a drink at the bar and Enjoy!

Cambridge 1 is a great place to go before a movie at the Harvard Square Church Street theatre. It's also a fun place to go after work to sit at the bar and watch sports and have a pizza. In addition to the ambiance, the pizza is fantastic--thin crust and good toppings. The meat pizzas are the best.

Charcoal grilled flat bread pizzza at its best. The dough (or crust if you prefer) is so good they take the cut-offs and bake them into spicy bread sticks (which are available by the glass-full at the bar and on the table). Also served are excellent Salads. Dessert is Toscanini's tiramisu ice cream. Beer and wine are served.

PROS: Atmosphere, wait staff, and the food
CONS: Parking is hard to find in Harvard Square

Very attractive environemnt that makes gourmet basics. Prices are a bit pricey. Laid-back bartenders serve up pitchers of microbrews and glasses from the impressive, cosmopolitan wine list.
