Not all seats are great...
by JULIO B.
Most of the seats in the theatre are great. However, I had the displeasure of having seats that weren't! Main Floor Aisle 3 Row HH Seats 3 & 4. For some reason, all the seats in Row HH are positioned directly behind the seats in Row GG. Perhaps this condition occurs in other rows throughout the theatre also. Because of this design, I had the unfortunate displeasure of having an "overly large" and tall gentleman seated in front of me. Being "vertically-challenged" at 5 ft 5 inches tall, I could not enjoy the performance because of my view of the stage was completely obscured!!! Obviously this made my enjoyment of the performance very undesireable to say the least!

The Paramount in Seattle is one of two places we typically go to see Broadway style plays. It's old charm and historical building is well preserved and elegant. The quality of theater is above most in Seattle.

We have always enjoyed the Paramount and their shows. The theatre has a lot of atmosphere and the productions are well done. We have generally seen several shows a year and haven't been disappointed yet.

I see shows at the Paramount at least a couple times a year. Every year we get their catalog brochure that tells about their offerings for the year. They always have a great variety from fabulous local shows to big name productions. I love it here because even if I have to be really up high for the cheaper seats, I still can see well and the sound is great.

The Paramount is a fabulous restored theatre with a variety of shows, ranging from rock to soul music and Broadway musicals. The auditorium (also turns into a ballroom) is very ornate with a lot of beautiful lighting and gold touches with plush velvet everywhere. Some of the limited viewing seats are offered at a discounted price and most of the time you can't even tell that it is limited viewing.

CONS: parking

I've been to the Paramount to see many different things, from Phantom, to concerts, and have never been disappointed. This is a great theater. I've always had seats where I could see, even up high - it's small so all seats are pretty much good seats. It's old, so it's got great character.

I have gone to see alot of concerts at the paramount. I enjoyed every one. The venue is amazing, i love going there. No matter where you sit you can still hear the bands playing. I love when bands are playing there because it is not as big as other venues so it feels like it is just to me.

I love seeing concerts and musicals at the Paramount. Every seat is a great one. I've gone to see the Nutcracker, Audioslave, The Vines and more there. Every single time I have gotten great seats. They aren't always close but even so, I am always able to see. And the sound is great. It's a small venue with a big sound. I would definitely choose seeing a band or play here over a larger venue like Key Arena. Mainly because it's small, but seems larger when good bands play. Worth every penny!
PROS: Sound and seats
CONS: Hard to get tix for popular shows because of the size of the venue.
