Replacement Part Ordering Fiasco  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

Placed order for replacement Dirt Cup on 3/1. I didn't need the whole dirt cup, just the lid (I lost my lid). Called their 800# and was told that replacement dirt cup assembly did come with the lid. So I placed order online on 3/1 and was told that I would receive an email once order was sent. On 3/9, I called for an update of my order and was told it was ready and would be shipped "any day". I was concerned b/c I was going out of town for a week as of 3/16 and didn't want the parcel to be returned to sender. On 3/14 I called and they had no idea if my order was shipped or not, and at that point, I got very concerned.

On 3/15, the replacement dirt cup arrived, but without the lid. I called customer service and was told that it was their mistake, blah blah blah, and they'd be shipping out another lid that day (3/15) and it should be there within 7 business days.

As of today, 3/26, it's been more than 7 business days and no lid. I haven't been able to vaccuum my rug in a month, and my original order was placed 25 days ago. I'm happy with my vaccuum, but VERY dissatisfied with their customer service and shipping policies. As of yesterday, 3/25, they said the item was shipped "around 3/18" but they weren't sure, and hopefully "you should get it soon". They ship via USPS, so no tracking number.

Very disappointed in Dirt Devil replacement services. Please use another outlet if possible if you need replacement parts for your vaccuum.
