Roche Bros Supermarket

Whoever says that Roche Bros has a great bakey must not get out much, because I am always dissapointed in what they have to offer. If you're looking for hap-hazardly prepared, flavorless "run of the mill" pies, or cookies that appear to be (and taste like) "store bought" cookies you'll be satisfied. Their fresh muffin display looked pretty good when I was there last, except for watching the guy on a ladder cleaning the overhead lights above them, knocking clumps of dust all over everything below. I tire of being asked at least 3 times if I want paper or plastic at check-out when they don't pay attention, then you usually get a combination of the two anyway.

I agree that this store has great produce. Their fruits and veggies are above and beyond everyone else's. They are a bit more expensive than the other supermarkets but they have great sales.

This place has incredibly fresh produce. It almost seems as if the farmers JUST picked it. Very clean. Lots of staff to help you with questions. Lots of homemade, prepared foods. You gatta try the macaroni and cheese! They catered our last function, and when they forgot the tray of mac and cheese, they came back super fast with the mac and cheese, and also with a free veggie tray and cheese tray!

This supermarket offers a wide range and grade of meat cuts, they looks very fresh and clean, although they can be a tad too expensive, but you do get what you paid for in quality. They also sell some hard to find exotic cheeses and dairy products. Must check out the bakery section, one of the best part about this supermarket.

They have the best produce and meat selections. It is a little expensive but it really is worth the trip. They have speciality items also which are terrific. The bakery is great too!
