In addition, where others had told me I needed a new pump and heater, he (correctly) told me there was nothing wrong with my pump, and that my heater could be repaired inexpensively.</p> <p>I then managed to find a used heater, which he installed for me for about $75. When it didn't work right away, he hooked me up with a really good heater guy who had it working in about 40 minutes.</p> <p>He's very conscientious, calls back, shows up when he says, goes the extra mile.</p> <p>He's also very personable, explains everything that's going on, tells you how to do stuff yourself. All in all, a pleasure to work with.</p> <p>Dann is that rare example of old-school quality and service in our modern world.
