wrong diagnosis for a common problem
by Harish S.
My wife went to this doctor for red swollen toes after deciding on a skin specialist. Doctor misdiagnosed and prescribed a stronger medicine for fungal infection. Luckily one of our friends told us it is a common problem (chillblains) during winter due to sudden change in temperatures and she just needs to cover her feet to keep it warm. I also verified by searching on the Internet. Her feet is completely cured after she started wearing covered slippers inside the house. We had to cough up the huge consulting bill in spite of the misdiagnosis for a common problem as they wouldn't give up in spite of our mentioning it.

Nice Doctor, terrible staff
by Katie S.
I went to this office for a skin checkup, after being recommended by a friend. I thought Dr Sigler was very calm and knowledgeable, but I had a terrible experience with his staff. I brought my daughter with me to my appointment-she is 3 years old and very well behaved. The office manager kept giving me dirty looks while we were in the waiting room, and muttered something to me as we walked by her. She was very rude, and an overall unpleasant person. As I left the clinic, I saw that same woman's face on one of the cosmetic brochures--which I thought was hilarious because she isn't even pretty!
Nice doctor, awful manager.

Although he specializes in "aesthetic dermatology," Dr. Sigler was the only dermatologist in the region willing to fit me in for an acute allergic reaction on short notice. The other doctors in the area wanted me to wait 6 weeks for treatment.
Once I arrived for the appointment, the waiting area and the staff and pleasant and calm. Dr. Sigler was professional, caring, and helpful, and wasn't rushed even though he probably makes more money on his normal specialty than treating a rash.
