Michaels

micheals is not the best place to go for art supplies for an art class. They have your basic paints and brushes but go in for a block cutter and you are out of luck. Plus their prices are higher then other art supply stores.

they have great arts and crafts products here. You can also get your framing done from here too. they do a very good job with it as well. Also they always have live demonstrations for art projects.

they have a great department in the back of the store where you can get your framing done. Joy was one of the ones to help me with my framing and she was very helpful in suggesting certain colors and frames.

I went here to get one of my posters framed and the man that helped me was extremely helpful and nice. He even gave me a 50% discount on the framing even though I didnt have the coupon for it (which they only offer every so often). They did a good job with the custom framing as well. This location is not as crowded as some Michaels can get and it is still new and clean.

Michael's does not have everything an artist might need, i recommend art suppy warehouse. Michael's is good for when you need to get something and you don't want to drive far, but besides that Michael's is over priced, disorganized, and the employees don't even know where everything is.

I went into a Michaels to get my diploma framed and they were great with helping me find the right frame and mats to make my framed diploma look good. Very helpful when it came to wanting suggestions. Also they have other great supplies here for artsy people. They also have little lessons on how to make crafty things. Just check their calender and it gives the date, time and the lesson given. its great.
