Once upon a time, I was a loyal Rickshaw karaoke patron. My cohorts and I regularly enjoyed the atmosphere, the general vibe of the place. Yet over time our patience was tested to the fullest when it came to our karaoke experience. That is, the regular female DJ regularly discriminated against much of our fellow singers, allowing her friends and favorites to perform more often than anyone else. Typically, my cohorts and I would find her drunk and combative, as we requested our songs; thus, we finally became so fed up that we took our business elsewhere. Although this locale is also an established drug dealing rendezvous point, I will still give the Rickshaw two stars simply because of its positive, friendly clientele and always-amicable bartending staff. PS. The food is terrible, too. The end.
