Ok Italian food but cheap for big crowds  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Not bad for italian food as we bring out of towners here for dinner as they serve big portions on large servings. Economical and the food is average. Nothing exciting to write about except I haven't been here in a while. Garlic bread is kind of weird as they have a circular slab of bread with bits and pieces of garlic all over it. Strange.

buca  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This is a fun place for a group meeting. The atmosphere is casual and there is flexible seating. The food is only okay. It is often very underseasoned.

5 Star Rating - World class

It's really a fun place to go. We go there for almost every family occasion. The food is amazing. Try the Baked Ravioli, Spagetti and Meatballs. Tip:
the portions are HUGE so share with someone. The waiters are really fun and if you tell them its a special occasion you get to sit at the table in the kitchen and watch them make food! Okay, this might not sound like a treat, but believe me it is!

A hearty restaurant 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

When you walk into the restaurant, you'll notice the decor on the wall immediately. The atmosphere is fun & festive, and the waiters are friendly but could be a little too cheery. The portions are HUGE. We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 dishes for 10 people! I recommend the garlic bread and the bruscetta. The thing is, don't expect to have a decent conversation here. It's too loud and you'll have to shout to be heard.

Pros: Hearty portions
Cons: Too loud

Sensory Overload 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

This place is over the top. The food is very salty, the servers are hyper-active, but worst of all is that terribly annoying tape loop of two men arguing in Italian that plays over and over in the bathrooms. That (and the giant glass of chianti) made my head--and stomach--start to spin.

Pros: good for parties
Cons: utter chaos

Great for big groups and kids 4 Star Rating - Very good

Very loud, fun atmosphere here. The food is served family-style, so the portions are enough for 4 or more people. There is one table in the kitchen for those that want to be close to the chef. I recommend the chicken parmagiana, a delicious, lightly-sauced entree. The green beans are worth ordering, very fresh and bright green. The large order of spaghetti with meatballs is enough for a small army. I've also enjoyed the ravioli. Wine is inexpensive and served in a tall drinking glass. For dessert, I recommend the tiramisu, which is served in a bowl.

Pros: party atmoshpere, tasty food
