Six Flags may not be the biggest or best amusement park. I'm a roller coaster fanatic and I would have to say that Knoebels Park in Pennsylvania is still the best park, but Six Flags America puts up a good fight. The biggest pro for me is that it's less than an hour away. It has an impressive lineup of coasters. Roar & Wild One are both on my top ten list of wooden coasters, while Superman, Joker's Jinx, and Batwing are all on my top ten list of steel coasters. Their prices look bad on the website, but you can find great deals at Safeway stores, on coke cans, or at a library. I can tell you I've never had a bad day at this Six Flags and I have had bad days at other parks like King's Dominion. Please visit this park, but try to go in the off-season when crowds are no big deal. I only hope they'll put in a new roller coaster soon, because as it's my home park, I take it for granted and I need something new and exciting there to look forward to.
