Worth the cost of the membership

by karyn k. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,699

Costco is great for stocking up on staples and groceries. Their meat department has excellent quality, better than most grocery stores. Books are a great bargain as are DVD's , video games and CD's. Their prices on electronics are great. I don't go on weekends because it's too crowded. It's much easier to shop during the week.

Worth the fees, especially for big families

by William F. | insider Insider | Rank: 14,352

If you have a large family, you can't afford not to shop at Costco. The discounts are big, but the sizes of the products are even bigger. It's hard for s small family to actually use everything. Cakes, clothes, and milk seem to be standard good buys here. Once you join, you can also purchase on their website. If you're looking for new exercise equipment or electronics, this may be the cheapest way to go.

Well worth the membership money

by S. C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,351

Costco may charge a membership fee, but it is well worth it. They sell items in bulk at very cheap rates. The meat selection is wonderful. Even film developing here costs less than at other stores. Make sure you have plenty of time if your going to Costco, because the lines can be a hassle.
