I happened across this station on my AM dial, and now it's one of my favorites! So far I've gotten great deals on everything from microdermabrasion treatments (7 for $90 - retail value $299!) to restaurants to amusements (Skymania for $9, Scandia for $8). It's fun to listen and see what "specials" on top of the regular values they offer each day. I'm hooked :)

The deals that you can get on this radio shopping show are amazing! From fine dining to travel, from home improvement to speciality retail they offer a wide selection. Once you get past the stage fright of talking live on the radio, you'll want to shop every day! And 4 times a year they hold marathon shows in which they sell a limited number of certificates from some of the best resturants and businesses in town, like PF Changs, Hamada, Capital Grill and more! If you reserve a certificate on the air and then change your mind when you go to pick it up, just let them know-No problem! Give them a try and save some money!

P.S. Listen for a few shows and find out which host sounds best to you and the best deal of the day-The sales change each day and some of the hosts are a little more helpful than others!

You listen to 1400 am radio staion, Mon- Fri 7:00 am-9:00 am. Also in the afternoon from 3:00 pm- 6:00 pm. Weekends are from 9:05 am- noon. You only purchase the gift certificates that you want. They are anywhere from 40%, 50%, - 60% off. Sometimes even up to 80% off. The certificates are for anything from automotive , beatuty services, fast food, resturaunts, and more. Each day they have a different special going on. So you have to just tune in and listen. Certificates are good for 90 days from the day of pick up. Also you can only purchase 1 certificate from the same business within 90 days. That way you can try other places out, and if you like a particular business you can go back and spend your own money.

I love their radio show when I am bored and have nothing else to do. It is like a big family. Some callers you want to strangle and others are fun to listen to. Great buys for locals looking for bargains. Remember, it is only a bargain if you really needed it.

Love great deals? Love a bargain? You can't miss with KSHP! You DO need to be a bit organized, since when you buy a discounted certificate, you only have a limited amount of time to use it. Their certificates are DEFINITELY a great bargain. For example, a Coldstone's Creamery gift certificate worth $5 for $2.50. I suggest picking them up-calling in can take a while.

The concept is great - businesses donate services in the form of coupons, they get radio advertising and the public gets these services and goods at a discounted rate. If you want to buy a show ticket, instead of paying $40 you might get it for $12 just by listening to the radio show. Stop by their office and get a catalog and i.d. number. The staff is friendly and helpful.

PROS: It really is like getting free money for places you'd shop at anyway.
CONS: Don't order just one thing because coupon pickup can be tiresome.

On the internet it is a call in show with no catch-22, except really popular restaurants have limited coupons, but you can always get a tremendous bargain and I have never had a problem using any of their coupons. They also have road shows where the coupons can be bought at an even bigger discount a couple of times a week. They are located in the Las Vegas area and it is great for hotels, local attractions and restaurants if you are making the trip. It is also located in Aurora and Elgin Illinois. The only bad thing about this is that you can't buy more than one coupon for the same place until 90 days have passed. These are not for hole-in-the-wall type places, but for some fine businesses.
