Trader Joe's

Trader Joe's is a great alternative to Whole (Paycheck) Foods. For the most part, Trader Joe's has a great selection of natural packaged foods -- especially snacks, juices, and frozen entrees, and even though the selection of organic fruits and vegetables is small, what they do have is always fresh. I was disappointed to see a packaged snack item that had partially hydrogenated oil as an ingredient. As always, check the labels!

I was so excited to find out there were Trader Joe's stores in WA when I moved here. They have great deals and their own brand of items is usually great. In addition to frozen foods and prepared foods I buy my vitamins from Trader Joe's as well. I recommend the Trader Joe's Masala sauce.

Finally my neighborhood gets a Trader Joe's! I can finall walk to the store and get organic foods for cheap! A little birdie told me that it's a great place to meet(possible dating)people. I have noticed, believe it or not. Besides that, the food an d wine is the main attraction. This was an instant hit from the first day on, for good reason. Good frozen dinners, cheap wine, fresh bread, produce, plethora of cheeses, creative deli section, farm raised meats, great employees, etc. I could go on and on. My favorite grocery store in the world!!

This is a wonderful place to go for organic and natural foods, which is very important these days, with all the hormones and pesticides in most of our food. The Capitol Hill store is new and very nice. As a grocery store, some products are a bit pricey, but for a natural and organic foods store, the prices are actually decent. Please shop here for your own nutritional health, and to support local organic farmers - the more support they get, the less we'll have to pay for better food.
