This is a wonderful place to go for exercise and classes. The prices are reasonable, affordable. My only issue and its not a Huge one but having children in that environment is not very stress free best to go during school hours.

I do like this place, my kids love it & they have gone there for thier summer breaks, they have used thier pool as well. The annual fees are definately reasonable which is why I signed myself & 2 daughter up over the weekend but after joining just a few days ago I am finding the place seems to only caters to the retired, self employed, stay-at-home moms or the unemployed because all the good classes are in mornings or afternoon...I am a mother of 3 but I work for a living 8am-5pm. I just had a baby 6mo ago & am looking to lose my baby weight so my sole purpose of joining was for the indoor track so I can walk with baby, due to being Vegas it is sweltering hot here in summer & has been windy for months during the nice weather & small baby cant be out in either so on my 1st day of using the track I notice on the "track rules" board there are stroller times...9am-10:30am, 1pm-2pm & 4:00-5:30pm...I was a bit miffed by this as I said, I work for a living & paid my annual dues like everyone else there...I am aware the jogging stroller is larger than a person but it is small enough to stay in my same lane with me just perfectly & I am a curtious person as well so I talked with the front desk & the guy first off wasnt even aware there was stroller times listed & he told me to just come & see if track is busy before using & if not then it shouldnt be a problem to us during off "stroller times"...basically he was saying to me dont come or to leave if it is crowded...can there really be that many people using the track? I even asked him if there are busier times or nights that I should avoid & he said he didnt know. Not real helpful, plus if the girl had told me of the stroller rules as I was signing up (I mentioned strolling with son on track) I prob would have reconsidered joining. Really wish they would put one more "stroller time" in evening so I didnt get rude looks from others while I am on track during off stroller times.

The folks that provide swim lessons are very good and the fees are affordable but there is never availability when we register for classes. I wish they would just add more classes already. It's been this way since 2007! Our family has since taken our business elsewhere.

The Multigen Center offers Hula and Tahiti dance classes on Tuesday and Friday evenings. The Tuesday 5:30pm HULA class is for children ages 5 years and older. The cool thing is if you have a younger child, the hula teacher will accept her in the class.

At 6:30pm the adults dance to Tahitian songs and drum dances. On Fridays, there are 2 additional classes for adults 6:30pm-Polynesian dance(mostly Tahtiti dances) and 7:30pm Hula for adults. The teacher makes the class fun and you get to perform at various events in the Las Vegas area if you choose to.

The great thing about the Multigen Ctr is that there is free babysitting based on availability and the older kids activity room is packed with lots to do. There are swimming pools, indoor track, exercise rooms and my children's favorite is Rock Climbing available on certain days. They offer so many classes.

It's a bonus to have the Paseo Verde Library next door at walking distance.

Gotta love it!

I use the HMGC weekly for my children. They love it and for the most part the classes are excellent. It is always clean and the teachers are stable. My boys really enjoy the tumbling classes with Ms. Jill. I have enjoyed the pilates classes but I felt uncomfortable with the childcare in the Romper Room. The romper room needs some work. The romper room is where your children get watched for a short period of time while you work out or take a class. The staff never inquired about their shots. I brought this to managements attention but there is still no system in place.

The facility was great at first, but now it has gone down hill. Sure, its got its great amount of classes, but first you have to pay 2 dollars a year to even use the game room or the pool tables. Teenagers are not allowed to use the Adult Lounge to do homework in a quiet spot, they expect us to use the game room, but that is very busy and loud. Also, the staff is rude. The indoor track, from what I understand does not let anyone under 18 use it. The rock climbing thing is always closed. Now they changed it to where you have to pay astronomical fees in order to use the fitness room and aquatics center and then pay more for the summer. It was more expensive than our local athletic club, so we just joined LVAC instead.

PROS: game room is fully equipped
CONS: long lines for pool, busy parking, rude staff, astronomical prices

The center has tons of activities - from cooking and sports classes, to swimming and diving lessons, to aerobics and yoga. There is a great game room that kids love. Plus, the multi-generational center is near the library, so kids can spend a day of fun - reading at the library, playing games, and having a blast at the great pool (with slide & toys!)

This place has it all. It is celebrating going into its third year in Henderson, Nv. and there is something for everyone. Toddlers to great-grandparents come here and find something to do. It is an aquatic center with 3 pools (at least). It costs $3 to swim or to try to. There is a fitness room. The yearly rate for unlimited use is $85. You can watch TV while you're on the treadmill and set your personal radio to hear the sound. Beat that! There is a suspended track so you can walk and walk and walk until they close at night and no matter how hot it gets in Vegas you will walk in air-conditioned comfort. There are classes -- from kid's dancing to cooking and everything in-between. There are day trips for seniors -- I just got back from a day trip to Laughlin where I spent $7 at the center to go and then won $100 and got a free lunch. There are billiard tables and reading rooms and much too much more.

PROS: The prices are reasonable and there is something for everyone.
CONS: It is very busy during prime hours. I'd wait until the toddlers leave.
