Ratings_icons great new digs

I was surprised by the size of the new casino. As a former dealer, i was pleased at the lack of smoke in the casino, it made it a much more pleasant experience

Ratings_icons the spa...

So I am really not sure about the actual gambling part of Ameristar, but I can speak for their new spa. It is Fantastic! The massage therapists are very talented and create a very serene atmosphere. They are very knowledgeable about their products and services, and are generally enthusiastic about their jobs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a super relaxing experience.

Ratings_icons Very Nice Place

This is the closest casino to my house, which works out nice because it is a great casino. They have wonderful restaurants outside of the gaming area and inside the gaming area is beautiful. I met people at the Blues bar there for a going away party. That place was awesome. Such a great atmosphere.

Ratings_icons Very nice casino

Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, MO is a nice casino to donate your "unwanted" cash to. One drawback is that drinks inside the casino are not free, but at least they are fairly cheap ($2 for a beer, $1.25 for a mixed drink). The Bottleneck Blues Bar is a great place to catch a band playing and just relax. This place is aesthetically pleasing as well. The outside is very impressive as you're driving over the Blanchette Bridge and there is a fiber optics fountain in the main atrium that I could stare at for days.

Ratings_icons Nothing compares to Vegas... But this is close.

Julie B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 11,276

This Casino is very nice. Its soo classy that it could fit along The Strip in Vegas. They have good roulette tables too. Their dealers are very friendly too. We had a dealer talking to us the whole time we played, even said what she thought was coming up next or if it was a good spin. If it had a hotel, I'd forget that I was in St. Charles.

This is a very nice casino for St. Charles. They have more than adequate parking and many restaurants to choose from. They had good Roulette tables as well. Definitely a nice casino for Missouri.

Ameristar Casino is an okay casino to go to. Not really one of my favorites so I don't go here very often. I usually only play the slot machines when I go to a casino and I'm not real thrilled with what they have to offer here. I have always had good experiances here with the employees just don't care for the rest. I would rather go to another casino.

This casino is not a favorite of mine, although I only go once a month. The food is good though and the staff is friendly. Not much in the pay off department, but when only spending $30 I guess I should be happy to come out even! They do have some good entertainment so if you can skip the casino go to see the entertainment.

This will make you feel like you are in Vegas. It is soo neat on the inside the only thing it is missing is a hotel hmm need to get on that. But the place is soo beautiful and exciting you will be glad you stopped by. They have a couple place to eat and live music too. Soo much stuff to do so little time.

Ratings_icons If you must gamble...

Missy N. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,639

then gamble at Ameristar!
Cheap drinks(but expensive food), penny slots, and hot, single guys lol, what more could you want? Oh, and I have actually won $23 here before, which may not sound like much, but this is after only 10 minutes of playing. My friend won $103 on penny slots. Worth checking out!

St. Louis now features more than a handful of Riverboat Casinos, but Ameristar in St. Charles is the best. Plenty of games, plenty of places to be silly, and some nice decor make this a good place to spend an evening.
