Half Price Books

I have bought several books from this bookshop and the service is excellent. Possibly even better than amazon. The prices are usally the cheapest available and the incentive of clubcard points makes the books cheaper and covers the cost of delivery on larger orders. Which is a plus for me and my fugal wife who loves to read new and old books alike.

PROS: better than amazon, cheap prices can be found
CONS: not as big as other stores

Here there mission is too have the most books for you to read. and for you to enjoy all the books around you. they are never late in the most updated reading series here. they help you get the most out of your time with them. they are close to where i live and that is why i go there for a good time.

This Half Price Books outlet not only has a wide assortment of books and low prices, but also boasts great children's and software sections. The staff are always helpful and friendly, especially when we sell our books back.

This is a great place to just browse for books, or look for specific ones. The selection is huge, and you could spend hours in the store, which is a little crowded with books. Prices are great.

However, this is *not* a good place to sell used books. The buy back rate is very low and seems to be non-negotiable. In exchange for about 15 books, some of them recent releases, I got less than the cost of one book at their store.

I swear that Half-Price Books is an addicting store! My husband and I can spend hours looking for all sorts of books. The fact that the prices are so reasonable is an added plus.

I love Half Price Books. So much that I can hardly imagine paying full-price!!

My favorite of course, are the $1 paperback stands. Its not junk - they just only keep a certain number of each title. So often, its actually the most popular authors. I read a lot, so this is great for me!

I enjoy browsing a good used book store more than a new one and this one is great. Some have hardly any selection, but that's not a problem at Half Price books.
