Lifeguards are very rude not only to the children but to the adults as well. They stopped my child after he got off a slide in the children's area and told him to stop and look out for other kids when there were none around. They need adult lifeguards not kids from the local high school.

I agree that the life guards start blowing their whistle and hollering warnings the second you touch the side of the pool, but knowing that bit of information when I go, I just let it be. As for the t-shirt for men, it's not needed, but if you are more comfortable that way, you won't look strange. Now for the speedo...um...please don't. It has nothing to do with being a church-goer...it has to do with your figure and I have yet to see anyone at this facility who can 'pull it off' successfully. Of course you have the right to do it, but the giggles you hear when you walk by won't be because of the good time everyone is having...just sayin'

We go to the Natatorium several times a year, but now only for kids birthday parties. The facility is very nice, but I will have to agree with Jennifer that the lifeguards are so strict there that it just isnt fun. We prefer to go over to the old outdoor Ford pool just because the staff is a little easier to deal with. The price st the Natatorium is at $5 now for adults and $4 for kids, and with it being open only from 1:5:45 on Saturdays, its just not a good experience.

This place is great in every way, I did not notice any rude or unnecessary behavior by the teenaged life guards. What would spoil this place is intolerant religious fundamentalists and their ludicrous killjoy ideas. Wear a T-Shirt while swimming? I don??t think so. Don??t wear a Speedo? I happen to loathe baggy swimming trunks. I have a recommendation for our fundamentalist troll: If you don??t like to see people in bathing suits, avoid the pool and go to church.

Great indoor municipal swimming pool. Plenty of lifeguards, clean, safe environment, family changing rooms, wringers to spin dry wet suits & towels, and best of all, a hot tub in the middle where you can watch the kids play! (Must be 18 or older to be in hot tub. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the pool.) The entrance to the regular play pool is a slope, not the usual steps - very accessible for parents with tiny babies and also those with mobility issues. The giant slide has a minimum height requirement and its own separate area so other swimmers aren't endangered. We have never suffered from bullying or other bad behavior rampant in many public play areas. Also. despite the complaints of the previous poster, I have never seen rude behavior from the teen lifeguards. My son and his friends often forget rules and lose control of their behavior and emotions, yet we have always been treated fairly and courteously. We don't even live in Allen, but we make the drive whenever we want a day by the pool!
One tip for those new to the area: most adult men wear tee shirts, regardless of physique. And no Speedos. PLEASE no Speedos!

We did not enjoy our visit to the Natatorium. My three and five year old where afraid to do anything because the over zealous lifeguards continually shouted at children and adults alike. We where reprimanded for things such as waiting for my 5 year old child to escape the whirlpool section of the lazy river. "Ma'am you need to keep moving in the lazy river." (I waited anyways, much to the dismay of the eye rolling teenage lifeguard) The three year old had to grab the sides to get a breath and was told to "let go of the side" The boys in the playground area hung on the the hanging ropes only to be told "get down, keep your feet on the ground" As if hanging ropes don't scream to a child "hang on me; swing from me." I could go on and on, but my point is the rules and lifeguards took away the joy of a day at the water park and I wouldn't waste my time or money to go there again. When I was a teenager I would have never treated an adult with the amount of disrespect I was treated with at the natatorium. For the enjoyment of all who go to this natatorium a mature adult should be present in order to keep disrespectful, and out of control teenagers from ruining other family's outings. I give it 2 stars because the rock climbing was cool and fun. The employees working the wall where great!

We had been to this place for attending a birthday party of my child's friend. This place is great for children. My 2 year old enjoyed in the indoor swimming pool. Since this is an indoor pool it has a controlled environment which is really great to have because of the extreme climates in the area. There were ample amount of life guards on duty and they were really vigilant. You can book a room on premise for celebrating events like a birthday party, etc.

This fun placxe for kids and adults alike is relatively new to Allen and is a wonderful addition to this great town. This indoor swimming and fitness center comprises of a large indoor swimming pool , a gym and the best of all is an indoor swimming play ground which is a hit with all the kids. There is a play set in the water with tubs of water that dump on you and a lovely big lazy river that seems to be the hit with all the kids. You can also do swim lessons here and host a kids party - they have party rooms available for hire. The price is very affordable about $3 and worth it for a few hours fun. You can also get a membership for the family.

This place is for the whole family. I joined this gym recently. They have state of art equipment. The gym equipment is monitored by a software called fitlinxx. You can track the excercises you have done, the number of reps, the numbers of calories burnt etc. You can set goals for your workout.
It has a very big heated pool. A jacuzzi, lazy river etc. They also have rock climibing. Kids love this place.
