4 Stars: Good place to get Husky stuff (by Steven P.)

I liked the big variety they had of UW Husky clothing, stickers, gifts and more. It is also very conviently located on University Way. Their prices could be a little bit lower, but you can not beat the selection that they have. Also, it is a great place to pick up some good reading material. They have a lot more than just text books.

PROS: variety
CONS: little pricy

5 Stars: Great selection of books, plus store has extra perks! (by Sara G.)

I love the University Book Store. I usually end up coming here to buy Christmas presents every year; they have a great selection of all kinds of books, even though the store is a bit small, they seem to cram it full of carefully selected titles. They also have great stationary, calendars, etc. There is a giftstore next door that has really unique items, and downstairs there is a school/office supply store, where you can pick up some pens or notebooks.

PROS: Great selection of books, great gift and office supply store close by.
CONS: University location, far for me to travel.

5 Stars: Another great Seattle Bookstore! (by Christine C.)

This is another bookstore that I just love! Even though it serves as the main campus bookstore for the University of Washington - its not just for students. They have a great selection of books (of course), UDub stuff, stationary, software, etc. Oh - and coffee - of course.

3 Stars: Better off buying online... (by Rebecca C.)

The UW's bookstore is fantastic, unless you have to buy school books and want to participate in their buyback program. Then you come up empty handed. Without fail, I've never managed to get back more than 10% of my book's original price. That can be a real disappointment when you've spent $200 dollars on books for a quarter and only get back $20 (usually less). Personally, I recommend buying books online or at least buying them used, so there isn't so much sticker shock.

PROS: Good selection, good staff
CONS: Expensive, low buyback price

4 Stars: Good memories (by Kim R.)

When I was growing up my mom attended the U of Wa and she would take me in this book store often. I loved it then, and I love it now. It still is the same. The building may be a little old, but they have every type of book imaginable and everyone is always friendly. They also validate your parking, so as long as you buy something you do not have to pay.

5 Stars: Great shop! (by Katie C.)

The University Bookstore has it all! You name it, they have it-computers, printers, two entire floors of books, a floor of textbooks, office supplies, gift items, UW gear, electronics, chocolates and candy, and an espresso stand! The most unique parts of the store are the office supplies and the UW gear. The University Bookstore is by far the best source in the U District for both these types of products.

5 Stars: Fabulous (by Fionna D.)

The University Book store is not just about
books but lectures as well. They often have
popular selling authors speaking if they
are visiting Seattle. Check their website.

4 Stars: Bookstore with a few extas (by teri j.)

The University Book Store claims to be the largest independent bookstore. Whether this claim is true, I am not sure. I would have thought that Portland's Powells would be the bookstore to lay that claim. Regardless, they have a pretty good selection of books and electronics, and computer supplies. The art department has a great selection of quality art supplies too. This store serves as the main campus bookstore for the adjacent University of Washington main campus.

5 Stars: Most complete book store and stationer in Seattle (by Rorke H.)

The UW Book Store is for everyone, not just students. Anyone in school at any level will find all their school supply needs and a lot more. The store also features an excellent variety of stationery and gifts. And of course, books on all subjects.

PROS: Selection
CONS:
