This park is a great place to people watch especially on the weekends. It's a great way to spend your free time outdoors. There are a lot of things you can do here, from rollerblading to walking your dogs. Though the walkways are sometimes constricting, especially on the weekends, people are real cordial and pleasant. Also, if you get hungry, there are restaurants and outdoor patios where you can rest and drink.

Nice place to go if you want to be outdoors. Big and spacious- a lot of room to play around with pets or friends. Perfect for a picnic or game. Parking can sometimes be a problem if there is an event going on, but it's worth it. the park is very nice.

What a great place to spend a nice afternoon in downtown Atlanta! You can bring your dog and have a nice picnic and people-watch! There are trails to run as well. Parking can be tricky as you just have to park anywhere you can find a spot. They also have some theater events that go on in the spring. There are a few special event facilities if you are looking to host a wedding or corporate party. Every spring they have the Dogwood festival- tons of food, crafts, and music. This is a great place to check out if you live in the area or are just visiting. Be sure to check out Park Tavern located in the park and grab a drink while you overlook the Atlanta skyline!

A great park with tons to do - soccer fields, a public swimming pool, a little pond where kids can fish, running/cycling/rollerblading trails, spacious lawns, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, statuary and a dog park. Frequent improvements keep adding to it all.

This is a great park. I used to run to and through it when I was in college. It's right in the middle of Atlanta. This is a great place to take a picnic or take kids to fly kites. It's fairly clean, though you can meet some interesting characters there sometimes. They also have music festivals and dog shows in the park. There is a large pond with ducks and geese. It's definitely a great way to spend an afternoon. It can be hard to find parking nearby. Be careful not to park somewhere that you will get a ticket - read those signs!
PROS: nice clean park, lots of room
CONS: parking
