New York Aquarium

We traveled over 2 hours to go to the NY Aquarium so that our daughter could attend an education program. The aquarium is small, but it was enjoyable to walk around and look at the different displays. The people there were very nice and our daughter had a great time.

Aquarium is small, but provides enough for a half-day visit. Sea lion show is great. A nice exhibition of jellyfish recently opened. Also, they have a nice outdoor exhibit. And you won't forget the amazing amount of seahorses they have (THE POTBELLY SEAHORSES ARE A MUST SEE). Give this a shot.

This is my favorite aquarium that I've ever been to and I've visited quite a few. They have a Dolphin Show which is great fun and its right next to Coney Island beach and the fun park. You can easily spend the day here and have a blast. They have great displays of different sea life, sharks, sting-rays and much more. This a is great place to take the family and its so easy to get to. The train station is within walking distance.

Whether it was when I was 7, or now that I am married, the aquarium is one of the best places to go. Located on the boardwalk of Coney Island, it never stopped being fun. The dolphin shows are still the best and with the new improvements, the aquarium is only getting better.

Location is even better now that the cyclones have moved in down the block. The best Sunday in the summer consists of a ride on the cyclone, a trip to the aquarium, time on the beach, and a 5pm Brooklyn Cyclones minor league baseball game.

i love this place!! expecially the blue whale on top of the dinning section! there are so many animals here! i love this place since it only cost 7$ for a day of fun! take the Q train there its the fastest way to get there!

This is a wonderful place to see the undersea world. They offer a dolphin show on a few occasions which I think is fantastic. They also have an area where you can eat lunch. The aquarium is divided into different sections for different fish. It is close to the beach and close to mass transit. A lot of trains and buses go there. Its close to Coney Island if you wan't to go to the beach afterwards. Great place to spend the day with your family. Highly recommended.

This aquarium is very small and everything can be seen in a couple of hours. Some of the tanks need cleaning and there aren't many animals or fish in each tank. They have added a new "Alien Stingers" exhibit and a new restaurant which are very nice.

Fish lovers will have a good time. You will see all types of sea creatures. The kids will have fun watching the dolphins play and seeinbg all the different types of fish.

I've been going to this aquarium since I was a little kid, and it's still a fun place to go. Now I bring my children, and it's really neat to share the experience with them. There's a lot to see at the aquarium, and it's in the heart of Coney Island, near Astroland and THE world's famous Nathan's hot dogs. It's best to go during the week if possible, because it does get very crowded. Summertime is the most crowded, even during the week--lots of camps visit for the day. Overall, a great place to take the family for a few hours of fun.

The New York aquarium was always one of those places that I went to on a trip in elementary school every single year and I never grew tired of it. Now, even at 18 years old, I still love to go back when I can. The aquarium is very well laid out and there are some beautiful displays of sharks and barracudas. There's a section where you can be up close and personal and touch a stingray or a live seastar, something that always appeals to the younger group. There's alot of interactive learning, which is what makes this aquarium so great. It's also connected to the boardwalk which is a nice way to end the day. No matter how many times I go back, it never gets old. I'll be taking my children there one day!

I live very close to the Aquarium. I love the dolphons. They have so many different fish and reptiles. They give a dolphin show like 3 times a day in the summer.

The New York Aquarium is located right in Coney Island. You can finish touring the aquarium in approximately an hour and a half. Afterwards, you can walk right onto the beach, play carnival games or take a swim!

I absolutely love going to this aquarium. There is lots to see and the kids will find it all very interesting. Its not as big as other aquariums I've been to but it definitely has more to see. The shark tank is a must see. It is a great way to spend the day and the beach is right by there. So after the aquarium, you can go take a dip in the beach.
