4 Stars: worth the trip! (by Susan N.)

Zum Stammtisch consistently churns out good sauer braten -- a rarity in the New York City area for some reason. The wursts and schnitzels are also good, and no trip is complete without a mug of freshly tapped beer.

5 Stars: Fantastic German Food! (by Nicole K.)

Zum Stammtisch is a fabulous restaurant where you can find "echt" or traditional German cuisine. The warm pumpernickel bread is wonderful as well as everything on their menu. I recommend their schnitzel and potato salad. Their apple strudel is yummy as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!

5 Stars: The bst German Food ever (by Alicia B.)

This is my all time favorite German Restaurant. The atmoshere is beautiful and calm. The service is unbeatable. The food is delicious. What more can i say? This is one of the last german restaurants left in the neighborhood. You cannot find better food. They also let you order and pick up if you do not want to eat in the restaurant. This is such a great option. The prices are decent for the amount of food that you get.
