Did they meet your expectations?

Of all the Walmart stores near Chicago, this Walmart is the worst. If this corporation seriously wanted to increase profits in the area, cleaning up this store and remodeling it may be just the ticket.
There is so much mismanagement at the skokie store, its pretty amazing the employees put up with it.

1. My experiences with the Skokie Walmart store actually convinced me want to shop elsewhere. My usual wait time in the line is 20-30 minutes on weekdays after 6pm. Sure the prices are cheaper, but for a few dollars more I would pay for some type of service after waiting in such long lines. God help us if the price scanner was not functioning properly, add another 15 mins to the long wait time.

2. This Walmart did not meet my expectations because of the messy, crowded, short handed staff.

If you ever wanted to see frustrated employees, just walk into this mismanaged mess.

3. Yes, they have rock bottom prices. Its too bad the customer and staff motivation is also rock bottom.

I will commend the Walmart company for opening a store near Golf Mill mall which could be the model for the Skokie store.

The only good thing about this store is they have ample parking in the rear, especially if you dont feel like fighting for parking.

This store IS always messy but who cares?
You get what you came for and get out.
The prices are awesome and they even have cheap layaway.
So I can find that doll or that bear or that stupid handheld toy 2 months before anyone else does and put it on layaway for 3 months for 10 percent of the total price, pay for it little by little with CASH instead of slamming my credit card in December.
How could you go wrong?
And, honestly, who cares how far you park.
Get out of your car and walk a little for cripes sake.

Can't go in this store anymore. Not worth the "always-low" prices. Maybe it was a bad day I was in there, but it was as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Bought my pair of flip-flops and left.

its a good place for everything but apparels.clothing quality is nlot very good.doesnt last long.needs some real cleaning and should be more oraganised.

This store is a mess!!!!! They have all the great prices that are advertised but it is so hard to find what you are looking for because most of their goods are not in the correct place. They need to hire stock employees to clean up the store and put things in their correct place when cutomers take them and dump the elsewhere when they dont want them. If this store took care of this problem if would improve their store a lot. They also need to improve on their customer service staff who are hard to find and most of the time rude (as if you are bothering them even though they are standing around talking). The other con to this store is that even though the parking lot is huge its always packed because it servces many other stores and this complex of stores is right in the middle of a few suburbs and this is a very busy area.

This Wal Mart is a pit. The staff and clientele are straight out of some po-dunk town in rural Indiana. The store is a mess and there are dirty, cranky little kids running around everywhere with parents yelling at them. If you must go, get there early, get in and get out!

This Walmart is huge! It has so much and everything! I can always find what I am looking for. There are so many people there to assist you. I go there for everything!

There are a lot better stores and chains to shop at besides Wal Mart. I've been to this location twice and vowed never to go back. Displays are a mess and the lines are long. Enough said.

This is the worst place to go. Would say you guys to go to this store only if all other stores are on fire. I was waiting for like 20 minutes in the checkout line and the idiot working as cashier was fooling around while scanning items and causing much of my delay. I was about to burst out at that person but my friend stopped me

This Wal-Mart is the closest one to the north side of Chicago, Evanston and Skokie, Niles, Morton Grove, etc. and you can tell. The place is constantly crowded and the staff have a hard time keeping the store up to par - often displays are messy. However, the prices are great and so it's hard to justify not going - I get lots of things there, including baby formula, foods, charcoal and cleaning products.

CONS: messy store, long lines
