Aurafice

This is what a coffeeshop is all about: people reading, people discussing anything from Nietzche to Star Wars, and people drinking strong coffee. The music is usually on the punk or goth or indie side, and the walls are filled with the work of a local artist (shows rotate every month) The hot chocolate is excellent, and the drip coffee is almost strong enough to dissolve your spoon.

PROS: Can't say enough for the place
CONS: no parking whatsoever, it's cap hill

Aurafice seems to attract somewhat gothic types. The atmosphere is usually very low key but once is awhile they will offers some all ages action and bring in a couple bands. I like to stop in once and awhile to sip some coffee and surf the internet. Especially good if your waiting to get your haircut at Rudys barbershop.
