Highland Tap

The Tap has a large selection of great beers, but average, over-priced food. The beer isn't cheap either. Parking is not generally available behind the restaurant, especially during peak hours. This is a neighborhood bar and not a cruising singles scene.

This used to be my favorite bar when I was in college in downtown Atlanta. It's in Virginia Highlands, which is much much much much classier than Buckhead. The crowd tends to be fairly upscale. It can get crowded on the weekends, but there's no dancing or anything like that, so it's not too crazy. They have tons of beer on tap (even Newcastle... yum). You can usually find parking in the neighborhood streets behind the bar.
