Ghiradelli

This place is so much fun to visit when your out trolling the area. They have not only the best chocolates around, and they give you samples, but they also have an incredible icecream shop made with the finest cream and chocolate around. They make a huge sundae called the earthquake that can be shared with as many as five different adults! We eat here everytime we come to the city. It is usually pretty crowded and there are often lines and semi long waits, but definitely worth the wait! Would highly reccomend!

Whenever my sister visits from out of state, she likes to go to the Ghiradelli chocolate shop, for gifts and for herself. It's a great place to get locally made chocolate, and they have a great selection to choose from (way better than what you can get from grocery stores), including cable car chocolates! Especially nice to go to around Christmas--get some hot chocolate to warm you up!

This place is located in a very nice area of San Francisco. There is quite a nice view of the bay. The chocolate is delicious, but a bit expensive. The employees are also very nice. I would highly recommend this place for all chocolate lovers. Overall i would give this place 4 stars.

This is a great place to go to get your chocolate fix. This was where Ghiradelli started its production. The factory is now in San Leandro. The building is a beautiful old victorian building and its nice to sit in there and listen to the bells of the cable cars ringing outside. They have gourmet chocolate on sale in the gift shop and dont go without trying their 'very' chocolate milkshakes a real fix for the chocoholics.

PROS: Good quality
CONS: A little pricey not a place to become a regular habit
