everyone there is very friendly and very helpful. they will go out of their way to help and assist you. clean store and pretty well stocked at all times

I recently visited the Meijer Store on 13 Mile in Madison Heights. It's a relatively new store. It's very easy to get around because it's set up like all Meijer stores. The main aisleways are a bit cramped though, they put so many center aisle displays up that the walkways are pretty narrow. But otherwise it's a great store!

PROS: One Stop shop
CONS: Main aisles are cramped with displays

This newer Meijer store is a nice addition to their locations. With a pharmacy, photo lab, cellular store, and full service grocery, complete "hard lines" and "soft lines" departments, it truly is a One Stop Shop. I have experienced the occassional grumpy employee, but all-in-all they are happy, helpful staff. Management is always helpful, and products rarely are out of stock. Sometimes it is hard to find a grocery attendant, but for the most part I've had good experiences here.
They double coupons to 50c (recently added a limit of 2 identical doubled coupons).

I love mega-stores like Meijer because I'm just not into shopping. You can go in, find everything you need in one place, then be on your way. No need for 5 and 10 stops. Food, auto supplies, hardware, toys for the kids-- Meijer has it all.

Meijer is big, cheap, and.....it's big and cheap and there isn't much more to it! I never shop here when looking for ambience or trendyness, as it offers neither. Nor do I come here when looking for a speedy shopping trip, because the aisles are crowded and the lines are long. But they do have some great prices on groceries, health and beauty items, hardware, and garden supplies.

Meijer's offer good discount prices in their weekly circular, I especially like the "buy 1, get 2 free" promotions. What I like: Good discounts on food items and customer service is always willing to write a raincheck for out of stock items. What I dislike: the store is messy and poorly laid out.
