My luggage didnt make the destination, everyone one I spoke to was rude and when I kept calling to check, was when it really hit the fan... I was told by south dallas to quit badgering thiem or they would never talk to me, i called jefferson lines and was told if i kept calling dallas they would get mad and not talk to me... then she said for me to quit calling and let her do her job... I had a tracking # and was told if I called they would keep me updated..That was not the case. In tulsa I finally got thru after 3 hours of busy signal. the girl told me..."Girl, you lucky I answered the phone, i on lunch". I will never ever try to save money and take Greyhound lines again... They have porters that unload and load at some places and they dont give a--- what happens to your luggage. And greyhound doesnt have a very good tracking system on luggage. My answer was "it will show up when it shows up" well 1 peice of luggage did, But did they call.... nope!!!! It was when I gave up on my trip to come home, and guess what, it was at the bus terminal... My review? Drive or fly or dont GO!!!!!!!! Highly hated the workers outlook mainly, I know luggage gets lost, but the way they handle business is WRONG!!!! The only 2 people that was nice was one fellow in Tulsa that worked painting poles, and some gentleman in okc who I talked to on the phone. Greyhound Bus Lines - I just completed a three road trip through the midwest on Greyhound and Amtrak. One of the sparkling moments was an observation I made while in Tulsa at 230 AM on 11 - 5 - 2009. A young woman whose name tag said Trina helped a lady with a walker to the bus. Trina was exceptionally kind, humble, well groomed, and polite. If there had been time, I would have engaged her to talk about about aninterview for my online magazine called YOUQUEST. I wish I could tell you my entire Greyhound Expericne was as quality as Trina's approach to service. She demonstrated the best. I thought you should know. She should be commended. Last year I bought a round trip ticket for my mom ,from tulsa to memphis. My mom is 70 years old and was traveling along. My sister spoke to one of the drivers about my mom being, nervous about traveling along, and she was concerned about her health. The driver was very considerate, and thoughtful he placed my mom on a bus where there was less tranfer stops, and my mom arrive to her final destination sooner than what we had plan because of this thoughtful driver,I dont't know his name but our family was very grateful for this greyhound driver going over, and beyond the call of duty.My mom will be traveling again this year by greyhound.

Greyhound Bus Lines is often, but not always, the cheapest way to go on a long trip. I definitely wouldn't recommend their services though. The trips often take much longer than planned. The busses are often filthy and uncomfortable. The staff is often rude, and I have had all of my luggage lost, never to be seen again. Also, the Tulsa station is right downtown. I wouldn't consider that a safe place to be waiting at night. All in all, I would not recommend Greyhound unless it is your only available option.
PROS: Sometimes cheaper than other means of travel
CONS: Dirty, rough ride, unsafe station
