Starship Records and Tapes

I have been going to Starship since I was a young teenager they have the best selection of CD's I have ever seen and if they do not have it then they will order it for you, It is a great place to find out about concerts as well stop in and take a look around.

If you come to Tulsa you need to at least go here once. Now I did hear they maybe moving down the street. Which made me very sad. I grew up with them at the location they are at. My dad took me there my first time. I was so excited. They have a wide variety of music right at your finger tips. They have them in all sorts of ways. Including records, though CD's are now preferable. The employees that work there, are great and helpful. Some even have worked there since the first time I had been there.

Your first trip to Starship is like a rite of passage. It's also a bit like stepping into a time warp. On the music side, they specialize in the stuff you aren't likely to find on a rack in WalMart. On the other side, they have stuff you definitely aren't going to find on a rack in WalMart.

Whether you're feeling blue or yellow, a trip to either side of Starship is a fun experience.

Don't let the exterior fool you! This Tulsa landmark has been around longer than I ! Inside you'll find stuff you would never find at the big chains, All kinds of paraphenalia and (my fav) India Incense, resonably priced (Nag Champa). You'll spend much more time here than planned!

PROS: unique and imaginative gifts
CONS: wish it was bigger

This is the record store where you can find all kinds of music you like. They have wide selections of rock, jazz, hip hop etc. Also, they sell concert tickets and other events too. there are some souvenirs such as tshirt, key chain, gifts too. It's a good place to visit and buy music related products for your friends and family.

I think Starship has been in business longer than most, if not all, of the music stores in Tulsa. It has a loyal fan base, because they treat their customers well. They have a wide variety of music, old and new. If they don't have it, they'll find it for you! They also sell a variety of fun items in the store. A great place to do all of your music shopping!
