I'm not sure how to delete my review it was not meant for a pet store with the same name as a local pet store in Texas. I submitted it before I noticed that it was a different address. My bad
We really enjoy shopping @ Pets, Etc. because they are always friendly, always willing to help, always have everything we need for our Parrot and the prices are competitive. We believe in supporting our local businesses (even if we have to pay more for the same item at times.)
The owner of Pets, Etc. has dedicated her life to animals. She and her staff take care of animals that need a new home instead of leaving them at the shelter to be put to sleep. They even took care of our 2 month Parrot while we went on vacation and hand fed him. Definitely recommend them.
I love shopping at Pets, Etc! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and they even carry my big bag of dog food to my car! I tell everyone of my clients about Pets Etc. They carry only the best lines of all natural pet food, and Ellen has plenty of samples on hand so you can try before you buy. You don't get that at Petsmart! I love going there and so does my dog.

Very helpful and friendly! In regards to a couple of replies. This store often takes in rescues, dogs dumped at their door. The team takes the time, at their cost, to keep them until a home is found. Sometimes these dogs are not in great health, hence the "dog poo" smell when it gets sick. That is not by any means a consistent problem. As far as vegetarian dog food, dogs are carnivores and NEED meat, they sell species appropriate food and vegetarian for canines is not species appropriate.
This store has gone out of its way to help customers, dogs, birds, and cats thrown out by their owners.
I have been buying my dogs food and snacks at Pets, Etc. for several years and have always been satisfied. I always receive immediate attention from the knowledgeable staff and I believe they would not sell anything that they do not believe to be of the best quality. One of my dogs has sensitive skin and since feeding California Naturals, her bare spots have fur again and she no longer scratches.
i just walked in this shop recently to check them out and was grossed out by this strong horrible smell of poo as soon as you walked in the door. then i hear barking in the back of the store when i was walking down their only 2 aisles. the big birds' beaks looks horrible. totally left a bad taste in my mouth.
I buy our dog and cat food here not only because they sell quality products at very good prices, but also because the owner, Ellen is a genuine animal person and truly a saint to animals.
We regularly buy our dog and cat food here (Innova). It is the best for our animals - high in protein and all natural ingredients. We continue to shop here, even though their location moved further from our home. You can call ahead to make sure they have what you need in stock. If not, they order and get it in a couple of days! They have good grooming services too!
Just a note on a recent poster who compained about vegetarian food for dogs and cats. I'm sure they can order it if their suppliers carry it. Pets, etc. carries the highest quality natural and holistic foods. Since dogs and cats are, by nature, carnivores - why would you want to eliminate meat from their diet?!?
I get my bags of vegetarian dog food from PetCo or PetSmart and could not find it at Pets Etc. They seemed confused. I also get my vegetarian supplements from www.vegepet.com and for 15 years my 3 dogs and 3 cats have been thriving on this. Is amazing for health.

this business is in a great location and it has every pet foods and supplies that you will need now they only sell birds here but they carry every thing else for your pets we have gotten a bird from them and she is such a lovable bird there birds are tamed and the staff knows a lot about animals if we ever decide to purchase another bird it would be with them

Hey this is a good pet store this is like a petsmart but better because it is not alot of people there and have cool talking birds sometimes. I like this place because there people are trained.
They have every type and brand of pet food. I get all my dogs things here, like her toys and her food(purina). I can always get help to if i am looking for something.Very nice people and products.
I go here because it's not crowded like petsmart. I go in and they always have what I need, and more importantly the staff is always knowledgable and helpful.
They are like a petco or petsmart, but i think the people are nicer and so is the quality of the pet food they sell. They have just about everyithng for every pet, without going from pet store to pet sotre.

If you are looking for Kibbles N Bits or some other commercial pet food for your pets, you won't find it at Pets, Etc. Pets, Etc. carries organic and holistic food and treats for your pets, i.e., Wellness and Solid Gold are two brands that come to mind. They also have an array of toys, beds, dishes, leashes, and other pet accessories.
