We have used Enterprise Contracting for all of our remodeling projects (a total of five) , and have always been impressed with both the quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff.
While most of our projects have primarily been functional upgrades to a forty year-old house, the ultimate is the screened porch and patio that we did in 2006/2007. We spent several months in the planning process, visiting Enterprise clients and gathering input from Andy Riley, friends, and neighbors.
Andy Riley was extremely flexible when we decided to modify our initial plans to add a covered hot tub. The result of our combined efforts is an addition that we are all very proud of. It has facilitated the hosting of large groups of family and friends, and provided an area where we can sit, relax, and enjoy our back yard.
There are bound to be problems during remodeling projects, and how those are handled by a contractor is very important. Enterprise Contracting repaired a mistake that had been made by one of their subcontractors in our bathroom, over a year after the project was completed, and at no cost to us. This proves the claim on their web site that they personally stand behind every job that they do.
We are truly satisfied with all of the work that Enterprise Contracting has done for us, and we would consider them for any future projects.
Ive used Enterprise several times and was very happy with their work. But recently when I needed some minor work done, I could not get anyone to return my call. After six days and no return call from Enterprises handyman service, and two reminder calls from me, Ive gone with a competitor. I know it is common practice among many contractors to blow off customers and not return calls when they are too busy, but all I wanted was a phone call saying when someone could stop by, even if it wouldnt be for several days. This is a dangerous game for any business since the way a contractor handles the minor jobs decides who I will pick for the big ones. Again this is disappointing since I was happy with the previous work Enterprise had done, and I thought I had my go-to contractor. Ill try my luck with the new one.
UPDATE: About 3 weeks later I received a call with an apology and an offer to still perform the work. The representative cited personal reasons for not calling sooner. The work had already been completed by the other contractor, but I might still call Enterprise again, and I would hope that someone in the company could be in charge of keeping customers in the loop, with just a quick phone call, so an employee can be free to take care of urgent family business.
My wife and I have been dealing with Andy Riley and Enterprise Contracting for about 20 years and have enlisted their help in many personal projects and improvements. In addition, I've recommended him to friends and clients with excellent results. I trust Andy for good advice, excellent service and workmanship and I know I can always trust his company to stand behind any work that they might do. I would not hesitate to recommend their services and will continue to do so myself.
Enterprise Contracting did a complete kitchen renovation and upgrading of our adjacent family room completed in May 2010. They did an outstanding job, resulting in the kitchen of our dreams that both draws rave reviews from all who see it and is a great working kitchen in which we love to cook and entertain.
Enterprise expeditiously completed all work, including completely gutting our old kitchen, upgrading plumbing and electrical [with added second "vegetable" sink and additional lighting], installing all new cabinets, appliances, granite countertops and hardwood floors. Special custom work was also well done including a designer tile backsplash and a one-of-a-kind unique stainless steel railing in the family room.
All work was first rate. The new cabinets were exceptionally well constructed, handsomely finished and very fairly priced.
Enterprise used great subcontractors. Their experienced and friendly on-site manager daily assured that all work, including that done by subcontractors, was well done and quickly resolved any of our issues or concerns.
In addition to doing outstanding quality work, Enterprise's price to us was very reasonable: we got a high-end designer kitchen and family room upgrade at a very affordable cost.
Finally, Enterprise provided a full one-year warranty on everything. We have had several minor, fine-tuning type problems since completion which Enterprise has quickly resolved with no questions asked. We recently had a minor door problem after the one year warranty was over which Enterprise fixed at no cost to us,
Enterprise Contracting carried out a large renovation of our 1920's home in Arlington, the square footage added was 1800 sq. ft. and consisted of a family room on the first floor, and a new master bedroom on the second floor, the master bedroom also had a full bathroom added. On the ground floor we added a screened porch plus we remodeled the existing kitchen and bathrooms, for all this extra space we added a new HVAC system plus a wood burning stove in the new den.
We got three quotes for this work and finally decided to go with Enterprise, there were a couple of deciding factors that steered us in this direction, the first was (Andy) the company owner, listened intently to our wishes and concerns and was able to answer all our questions about time, cost overrun, and quality of work in a very professional maner. We also wanted to make sure that all the workers on site were employed directly from his company and did not use subs on our job. Andy worked very closely with us during the development phase of the job and was never further than a phone call away when any questions popped up. The job was completed on time and we were and still are delighted with the result and quality of the work. My reason for writing this report so late is, I noticed an issue with the siding last week that I had not noticed before now, I made one phone call to Enterprise and they came the next day to take care off it, this is my idea of a full service contractor and I would not hesitate to use them again.
I hired Enterprise Contracting for a whole, first floor renovation which included my kitchen, bathroom, living room and dining room. This was a very large project, one I was heavily invested in emotionally and financially and the feedback shared on here from other Enterprise customers was what really helped me feel confident about choosing their company. My budget was $80,000 which covered the removal of walls, new windows, and new counter tops. I have to say, Enterprise Contracting was timely, professional, within budget and I would use them again. I am so pleased with the way things turned out, I now have a home I am proud to entertain in and I love that there is more natural light coming in too. I highly recommend their services.
Enterprise Contracting did a great job rebuilding a large portico on our church when it was hit and almost toppled by a delivery truck. They worked diligently and kept our area clean, safe and secure. The project manager was always available either on the job or by cell phone. They had to bring a crane to perform part of the job. Their workers were all very good at everything they did. When it was done they had made improvements to the original construction that made it even better than new. Highly recommend them to anyone that asks me.
We have had numerous projects completed to our satisfaction. These projects have included siding, gutters, exterior, wrapping, windows, painting, custom railing for stairway and new side and front door. Enterprise handled each of these projects with the upmost care and precision. Their estimates were professional and explained every detail of the project. They touched base with us while the work was being completed. I would definitely recommed Enterprise Contracting.
Enterprise Contracting has been doing renovations for us for the past 10 years and have fallen nothing short of fantastic. We have had a variety of projects such as a new deck, paint, tile backsplash, flooring, patio and many more. We have been so pleased with their professionalism and communication from the initial meeting to the finished project. All of their work looks fantastic and we have been more than pleased. They have a wide variety of professionals who help with the budget and design as well as keeping the project on target and within the agreed budget. We highly recommend Enterprise Contracting for your next home project.
Wonderful design services: I contracted with Enterprise Contracting to remodel my master bath and put in a new bath in the basement. I selected them after looking at several contractors because they had a great design process and I knew I was in good hands. All I can say is that we couldn't be more pleased. The project manager was thorough, listened to what we wanted, communicated throughout the process, and made sure that the end product was quality. Throughout the process, from the signing of the contract to the selection of the materials, we knew we were working with knowledgable people who took the time to guide us through our decisions. If you are looking for a cheap handy man to do your work in 5 days, this is not your company. They have a process that is thorough and well thought out. Any concerns we had were quickly and fairly taken care of. I would recommend them without reservation.
CONSUMER BEWARE! My husband and I have hired contractors in the past and expected a few ??hiccups? with the remodel of our master bath. ENTERPRISE CONTRACTING was a complete fiasco. We are exhausted after this whole ordeal. EC sold us a bill of goods, even offering two incentives to lure us into signing with the company. EC expected us to abide by the terms of the Contract, however showed no accountability on their part. They took FIVE months to finish the job they contracted 25 days to complete! Many of the materials we ordered were either not available or delayed in delivery. Their contractors showed up late on most days-if they even showed up at all. They were unprofessional, didn??t return phone calls, made many errors and left the entire path to my master bath dirty and damaged. No pride of workmanship or attention to detail, but lots of excuses! CONSUMER BEWARE!
Over the last 6 months Andy, Greg, Paul and the rest of the team at enterprise contracting have been doing work in our home. They put a new roof , new windows, both of these went exceptionally well with no issues at all. There teams were neat, and very efficient. We then Had them remodel our bathroom and several areas in our home to change the decor to a more rustic look. From the floors to the special woodwork that Paul did to the master bathroom stone work. Paul was unlike any other contractor I had ever dealt with. He was always interested in our opinion and concerns and made sure that our anxieties were kept at bay. His craftsman ship and detail are matched by no one. I would recommend to any one who needs work done in the home, or where ever.

Over the last two years, we have used Enterprise Contracting to remodel two bathrooms. The design, installation, superb quality and attention to detail of the craftsmen were outstanding. The project managers and the entire team for the two five-star jobs were exceptional. We couldn't be happier with the results and strongly recommend them for bathroom remodeling jobs!
Over the past four+ years I've hired Enterprise for many different projects around my house: they gutted my kitchen and rebuilt it with an addition; built a laundry room in my basement; built a deck; re-roofed my rear dormer; rebuilt my front porch; and installed a new front door (by the way, their tile guy is a magician). Simply put, I have a lot of options and I would not have consistently called them back to my home if their work was not top quality. As is the case with any service being performed, issues arise. That's just reality... no project ever runs perfectly from inception to completion. However, I've always felt comfortable knowing that these issues will be addressed to my satisfaction (or better). ECS gets two thumbs up from me. Now what can I have them do next?
Horrible experience. Smooth talkers. Promises, promises. They failed the County inspection and then went away, leaving me to deal with it. The 'fix' was sub-standard and merely ensured that they could leave me hanging. Unresponsive to calls when I really needed them.
Enterprise just finished my kitchen and they did a great job. Two years ago they did my master bathroom so when I got ready for this project they were the only ones I called. Their work is quality work. The office people are very cooperative and prompt. The subcontractors they used on the kitchen were outstanding. The project manager was on top of every detail. This kitchen was not a huge project and I wanted them in and out as quickly as possible and they were in and out in less than 4 weeks with everything done perfectly.

Do not use enterprise contracting services! They are smooth talkers getting you signed up but they fail miserably with the follow through. The person in charge of ordering items frequently forgot what we ordered or tried to charge us for more than the original price quote. Getting ECS to finish a simple project ?? remodeling a couple of bathrooms ?? which ECS said would last 6-8 weeks took 4 months! Our neighbors, a retired couple, often commented that the workers would come late and often sat out in the patio smoking and talking on their cellphones. The quality of their work is commensurate with their efficiency ?? the tile work had to be reset, they stained the carpet, and damaged the kitchen backsplash.

Enterprise Contracting is an excellent company. We hired them to add two rooms (large sun room with a gym underneath) and replace the windows in our house. The work was completed on time and on budget and we have been very happy with the results.
The work was quality, and I have no complaints with the customer service. Great care was taken to ensure that we got the rooms that we wanted.
I have seen the negative reviews posted on this site, and I tend to agree with another reviewer that they are planted. I am more than happy to show my house and have sent other people in my neighborhood to Andy.
This is a quality company.

Enterprise Contracting has done a number of home improvements for me, the latest--painting and adding french doors to my dining room.
What they've done adds a lot of value to my home, but it is also beautiful to look at.
I've had a relationship with Andy and Enterprise Contracting for over 10 years. They have added windows and a roof to my house and many small but necessary repairs to an older home.
They're easy to deal with and they have always striven to make sure we're happy.
We have had Enterprise Contracting do the very smallest of jobs and the very complex. They have cleaned our gutters, replaced our roof, re-sided our entire home, remodeled our kitchen and installed hardwood floors throughout our home.
Each job, large or small, they have been extremely professional, courteous, and the work has been top notch. All costs have been plainly laid out in advance of the work and when the work was scheduled, they were there on time. they finished our kitchen installation ahead of schedule and on budget, even when we were giving them change requests while the work was going on.
I would (and have many times) recommend Enterprise Contracting to anyone looking for a quality contractor. They do what they say, they do it extremely well, and they do it on time. We have never been more proud to show off their work.

I contacted Andy Riley, with Enterprise Contracting, after I saw the terrific work they did on a neighbors house. I wanted to add a porch onto the front of my house. Andy is a first class guy who takes pride in his work and his company. I was amazed at how much time he spent at my house just talking about my project and different ideas on how to approach it. Everything we agreed upon was put in writing, up front, in a legal contract. Once the work began, Enterprise assigned a foreman, "Adze" who was also EXCELLENT at his job. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the quality is some of the best you will find anywhere. And the final price was exactly what we originally agreed upon. BE LEARY of the NEGATIVE posts on this website. It's too easy to hide behind a computer and defame a competitor. Get referrals and get it writing. If you want to talk to me personally, to legitimize my words, call Andy and tell him you want to talk to the guy in Fenwick Park, who had the porch done. I'll show you my house and my neighbors. You WILL be impressed.
I have had Enterprise Contracting do several small projects for me in the past and when I finally decided to remodel my kitchen I called them to give me an estimate. The price was competitive and their professionalism was exceptional. I had a great experience with them and will use them for any projects I have in my future.
I hired Enterprise Contracting to install new windows in my home as well as gutters and interior painting.
The project was completed within the budget range that was quoted to me and in a timely fashion.
I highly recommend Enterprise Contracting.

Stay away from this company. 7 months to do a 3 months job, overcharged, unprofessional and unresponsive staff, staff changes, errors, mistakes, damages. Truly a real nightmare working with them. We have done the mistake to assign a big project to them and we have learned how costly - not only financially - the mistake has been.
