i have produced over 1000 events, have been to hundreds of venues in over a dozen countries and i can honestly say that this is the worst venue in the history of mankind. if i must explain myself then i will tell you that the bartenders should be barbacks and have no business talking to customers, the managers should be security guards or bathroom attendants, the sound guys are 3/4 deaf and are rude, the in house booking is a joke, the box office is incompetent and in general the staffs' overall attitude has to be the worst i have ever seen. collectively they amount to a piece of garbage that deserves to be recognized as not even reaching the barrel's bottom. they sit underneath the bottom of the barrel. i give this venue negative 5 stars and i have reached 5star diamond status in my career so dont bother wasting your time or money going there. you're welcome.

If you ever want to just hang out and see some awesome live bands, then this is the place to go.

The weekends are buzzing at this place. Its pretty roomy inside well I guess that just depends who's playing.

The drinks are the same as any other place.

Parking is a bit of a bother as its right on Hollywood Blvd.

I had a great time at the knitting factory. I think the drinks are at or below Hollywood prices and the atmosphere was young and fun. We also looked on line at who was playing that night so no surprises. I even called to find out when my band was in the line up so I could arrive at just the right time. The staff on the phone was friendly.

This is a great place to catch up and comming bands that havent hit MTV yet. They have a great lay out for the club and great drink specials, sometimes the'll have 2 bands playing in two different areas at the same time, make sure you check em out!

PROS: great layout!
CONS: sorta hard to find if your not familiar with the area

Very hit and miss place to listen to live music by "up and coming" bands. Multiple rooms filled with a large diversity of people, ranging from casual listeners to people who are in the "scene". Drinks are watered down and expensive, and quality of music varies each night. Usually only 1 or 2 good shows a month.
